Were you able to cut chord on what ever you were using before? Would love to get this and call Comcast & tell them to shove it
i wouldnt recommend it mainly bc i dont have the patience to try to find a decent stream for everyday stuff. you could def cut back though. you dont need hbo showtime netflix etc. its great for movies. i dont watch much sports but my kid watches out of market nba games all the time for free.
I've got one. Buy the Fire Stick on Amazon for $40.00 and there is youtube videos that will explain how to program the Fire Stick with the Kodi program and this thing is the nutts. And you must have a Amazon account to make it work. But other than the $40.00 for the FireStick there is no other cost involved.
Kodi, definitely good, I have been using it for over a month now. There are different builds out there, some with TV Guide, but with the variety of movies and shows, it beats netflix for sure, and the good thing is, you can just delete any build you had installed and reinstall a brand new one from scratch it you want, also whats good is, YOUTUBE has tons and tons of information on the builds and step by step guides to install them. Movies, xrated, cartoon, sitcoms, going back years and episodes, documetaries, you name its there. Oh, I use the Android box with 4K.
"Builds" simply refers to an over all Platform that includes all that you mentioned: exodus, salts etc. along with Graphics (pictures used to make a Build look cool...people seem real concerned with the Look of the platform they use) and Ease of Use, Navigation thru that Platform.

I'm still trying to figure out how to best use the Firestick I have, Navigating the platform to locate stuff (I have the Build called: The Beast, For The People or some thing like that) there is a Learning Curve on how to find stuff and seemingly no easily findable Tutorials on how to learn to be efficient with a Build, like: easily, quickly and masterfully locate stuff, within a Build.
The Videos that slaphot (I believe?) posted look promising. I'll likely "Fresh Start" this Firestick here which = wipe a Build off of it, and try the one in slapshot's video...
In my current build I get many "No Stream Available" or when I try and switch on a channel just nothing happens at all except time passes with zero seemingly taking place where getting that channel playing happens.
ok cool thanks ml dog. im not to tech savvy so i prob just stick with what i have. one bc im to scared to mess something up and two i dont want to have to find the shit i like to watch with some new setup. thanks again and if anyone knows of any other good "programs" like exodus etc or sports channels that seem to work well please let me know. thanks again!
