Smartest move for Kevin if he wants a title, which I hope he gets.

One of the nicest & unselfish guys in the league & he deserves to think about himself for a change...

He left because he was living in Oklahoma. Who in the hell would want to live in Oklahoma? Oklahoma is nothing but a windy, dried up shit state with yokels living there.

Those are probably the same reasons why he didn't sign to play in San Antonio, Houston or Dallas.

People who have a problem with KD because of this are just plain retarded.

KD was a great player, teammate, citizen in OKC for 9 years. He decided to move on. He was drafted and essentially forced to play for them. He didn't chose who he went to. Maybe he just wants a change of scenery. I'm sure he loves OKC and the fans there but maybe he wants to play somewhere else. He now has his best chance, so he's going for it.

He's going to a great team, thats going to pay him a lot of money, that just happens to be in a great part of the country to live in. How can you turn that down? Not to mention great young teammates, great coach, who run a style suited to your talents!!

This was simply the best situation for him overall. Usually a top team can't afford to add a top player, GS could in a unique situation. Should he stay in OKC his whole career just because he hasn't won a title there yet?

The garbage about going to a team that beat you is just that, garbage. Almost as stupid as people who complain when a player goes to a rival franchise. It happens all the time nowadays, all the players are friends for the most part. It doesn't stop them from competing hard against one another. Thinking they have to hate the rivals is a stupid fan thing. It doesn't make them soft. Look at the UFC , these guys fight and beat the shit out of each other but most of them are very friendly out of the octagon. Does this make them pussies? Of course not, it's like a huge brotherhood. Same in the NBA, when you are better then 99.9% of humans at something you all have something in common.

Irrationally hating Durant for the rest of his career the way people do to LeBron is stupid and pathetic, but we can still think Durant is soft for going to the team that beat him and doubles as the best team in the league. It's a soft move and taking the easy way out. You're supposed to be one of the best players in the league and you just latch on like that? It's just weak to me. I could see SA or Boston or OKC but GS just feels like a bridge too far.

It would be like LeBron signing with the Celtics after the 2010 season or Kobe demanding a trade to the Suns after 2007 (oh wait, he did do that)

It isn't the worst thing in the world but a different result would've been better for entertainment purposes IMO.
