With the issues they had with him yesterday he was an obvious throw out anyway. Still should be a great race without him. The only negative is the odds on other horses won’t be as good.

I like King Russel WPS. He will love the distance and will be flying late Rich Strike style for the win. His odds were 39-1 before the scratch. Now he is 32-1.

I also think it’s ridiculous that these trainers can’t be upfront about their horses. Pletcher said yesterday that the rumors about Fortes health was negative and he was good to go. He obviously lied.
