It is fantasy, any RB could regress. Obviously this isn't the NBA and LeBron or Durant smashes for 15 years. But I feel more confident in CMC as #1 than I've ever felt about a RB as #1. He doesn't even have to play well to accumulate pts, the guy is a machine.

Thielen is growing on me at 2.09 if necessary....Diggs is gone and I don't expect their running game or defense to be as good as last year. Just hope he doesn't catch an injury like last year but if he doesn't he is setup for a monster season. Cousins for his faults has shown he can be a yardage machine as well.

If he doesn't regress dramatically after last year's workload i guess hes just the best fantasy rb ever. Which is certainly possible

I dunno about thielen. Is he really talented enough to excel now over 30 and high injury risk? He wears down at the end of every season and that was before 30. I can see him killing it for a month or so but he feels very risky compared to other guys you can get in round 2

Concerns are definitely valid but I think he is probably the best of the WR7-WR15 range, I like Cooper too but I think I can get him at 3.4 so wouldn't take him there.

The guy just puts up #'s when healthy and now it looks like he is going to be in his best situation ever. Can always sell high if he starts hot as well.

Who would you take (assuming the aforementioned top 20 doesn't fall to 21?) No perfect answer.

Going over the 2 RB's in contention really quick, Chubb may be in a timeshare with Hunt and Hunt also goes way too high to handcuff Chubb sometimes. Jacobs I like a lot as a player but I see the Raiders offense struggling this year vs a tough schedule and everything indicates he won't be getting 3rd down/hurry up work since they paid Richard a decent amount and drafted another scatback type in the 3rd rd. I'd rather take Conner at 3.4 than those 2 I think.

Curious where a few guys are going in your drafts:

Cooper Kupp
Robert Woods
AJ Brown
DJ Metcalf

Darren Waller

Kupp/Woods go late 3rd to mid 4th, AJ goes early 4th to mid 4th, Metcalf late 4th to early 5th (Seahawks did just sign J Gordon but at this point it is hard to care, I think DK has a big year because I think Russ will be unleashed more)

Waller the baller like mid 5th to mid 6th.....With Tyrell down I guess he is kinda more the clear #1 now and he does do well when Oak is behind which they should be often this year but I hate paying for TE's in that midrange area. Especially a guy with 1 good season on a bad team. But he's probably fine...

I would definitely rather take conner later instead of jacobs. I have no interest in a back who doesnt catch passes in ppr. Especially in the first 2 rounds. Same for chubb. Also hunt is more talented but i am seeing him go as early as round 4 now. Hes a potential league winner but chubb is very low injury risk

I would have to see your top 20 to make a choice on who to take at 21

The mid to late 2nd round rbs arent worth it. The wrs arent either. It really is a tough spot where only the TE make sense

The ONLY wr i like in the back end of the second is golladay. That was my backup plan if kelce and kittle were gone

I said the top 20 yesterday but here it is again (this is my own rankings and also the footballpros aggregate ppr top 20 so that is why I'm talking about what to do at 2.9 so much, because I do kinda feel that top 20 is clear in ppr) CMC, Zeke, Bark, Kamara, MT, Cook, CEH, Adams, Henry, Miles, Mixon, Drake, Tyreke, Julio, Kelce, Kittle, Ekeler, A Jones, Godwin, Nuk....in no particular order

Basically leaves Chubb, Jacobs, Conner and WR's ranked 7-14

Does anyone believe Kittle will top Kelce this year? Kelce reigning TE 1 since 2016

Ok then golladay is my answer

I would take him over Godwin

I think its possible ekeler falls there. He has been close in both my drafts and now recent news of a three headed backfield

Detroit defense is horrible. Stafford healthy. Golloday is an absolute beast. We will be talking about him at the first round turn next season

Oh I'd go Ekeler in full ppr if he fell, just saying not crazy about a Tyrod offense. I actually thought their D was gonna be nice this year w/ James back, adding Harris but James is out for the year now. And it is the Chargers, you know more guys will get hurt. So that will help Ekeler some already.

Golladay is interesting, I like Hockenson as 1 of my TE sleepers though. Could see him cutting into his work. That was impressive how he still putup #'s last year when they had some guy off the RX at QB for the last 2 months.

L murray should be on everyone's roster this year. Top 10 rb with kamara out and flex worthy when kamara is healthy. I would go as early as round7

Cohen may be undervalued this year. Was a beast in 2018. The bears were crap last year, and montgomery banged up. Mot feeling as bad anymore about him as my rb2, especially at the beginning of the year. He gets detroit week 1

Seems like he should outperform his 8th round adp easily

Nffc doing the first Thursday free look again. Adds an interesting wrinkle to strategy. I have Texans kicker. I will probably drop sanu and add another kicker just in case fairbairn bombs and only ends up with 3 pts or something.

Also is good for bench players like watkins. Just in case he has one of his two td games you can put him in your starting lineup after tnf

I'm taking Kamara unless he pulls an OJ Simpson in the next 72 hours. I don't think L Murray has stand alone flex value though, don't see him having that full Mark Ingram role. But I'll be targeting him in the 8th rd regardless, early 7th is a bit early for a handcuff.

I do think you were onto something with Golladay though. He just feels weird to take that high but likely better QB, worse D, 4yrs younger than Thielen. Little more competition for targets though since I see Hock being legit and MJJ does his thing also. Like I said on the previous page though, trying to not lose the league w/ this pick rather than win it.

My $500 league has a two week all play where you just need to be top 6 in pts to get a win. Going to be tough with the brutal matchups i have in week 1

Kyler at SF
Barkley vs Pittsburgh
Parker at NE
Woods vs Dallas
Marvin jones at chicago

This week just hoping to survive with a W
