yeah I know. I just don't think people get that attached with a fish tank... but agree when we were kids it was sad
and then your parents would go out and replace it with a new one hoping you wouldn't notice it was a new one.
I know, I was just teasing. And yep, problem was, sometimes you would get up to get ready for school go to feed the fish and one would be laying at the top. Went to 1st grade many times crying.
Actually had a gold fish live for 12 years, won him at a fair when I was in 8th grade and didn't die until I was well out of college. That was also strangely emotional since I was older and had that fish for so long.
My dog is 7 right now, got her at 9 weeks, and will be awful when she is no longer around, but I hope I still have a lot more time.
But once again my condolences, hang in there man.
