yeah I know. I just don't think people get that attached with a fish tank... but agree when we were kids it was sad
and then your parents would go out and replace it with a new one hoping you wouldn't notice it was a new one.

I know, I was just teasing. And yep, problem was, sometimes you would get up to get ready for school go to feed the fish and one would be laying at the top. Went to 1st grade many times crying.

Actually had a gold fish live for 12 years, won him at a fair when I was in 8th grade and didn't die until I was well out of college. That was also strangely emotional since I was older and had that fish for so long.

My dog is 7 right now, got her at 9 weeks, and will be awful when she is no longer around, but I hope I still have a lot more time. :)

But once again my condolences, hang in there man. :)

yeah it really blows, but everyone will tell you that if they reach past 15, that's great. but still nobody wants to lose a pet/family member
and yeah when they start to go, it could be quick

hopefully they go without pain

wow, that sucks.. and the one before this one was my favorite and he passed at 12, and I was like how does he go before the oldest ??
I was beside myself last year when that happened. You could talk to me for weeks and I still can't talk about him, and it's a year and half later...

Have been doing the cremated thing for 18 years now, before that pet cemetery.
with the cremation we only take a small amount, placed in a piece of jewelry. she doesn't wear them, but put in a box for safe keeping

I was thinking about getting a lockette necklace of some sorts for Christmas. You just talked me into it. It should be a perfect gift to go along with the new jewelry box as well, and the urn is set to arrive right before Christmas as well...

I would have thought you guys were nuts just one year ago, but got a dog in January of this year that I have fallen in love with to an extreme I never could have thought possible. It is simply amazing to me and has changed my entire view of people and pets.
