For the record
I want to say just a few things about what is happening with Journeyman.
1. Journeyman is officially on tilt and quite frankly there is no telling what he will do or say. The debt to Cigarman is legit and Rick tried to resolve the situation peacefully and fairly by making a deal with JMan and Cigarman where The Rx.com would pay off the outstanding debt by deducting a small portion from Journeyman's salary per month and sending it to Cigarman. Everyone seemed fine with this arrangement until aboaut an hour or so ago.
2. Rick is the farthest thing from a control freak as you can get. I have total freedom to do my job the way I think it should be done. Am I always 100% right - of course not (who is) but Rick never jumps on me and says you cannot do this or that. We always discuss things like men. I work for him and respect him but by no means do I have to suck up to him or be phony when we communicate. He is an excellent administrator but is not the kind of boss that runs around patting you on the back everyday. Do your job with Rick and it's all good.
3. Regarding Rick telling mods to lie or promote bad books or do anything underhanded, that is total BS. We feel all of our sponsers are equally good because we are here to help any Rxer who has a problem with any of them.
Sure some of our sponsers are rated higher than others in some circles, that is only natrual, just like restaurants, but that does not mean book A will pay when Book B will not. All of our sponsers will pay our posters or they won't be sponsers anymore. Direct orders from Rick (one of the few he sends down).
4. The Rx.com does not wish to get into a long he said she said battle with Journeyman. The one thing that I will say that I know is true is that the threats to call the FBI and local police on posters that JMan owed money to are true (I spoke to Cigarman on the phone) and to me that is the second worse sin (behind treatening family) a player can commit.
I know a lot of you guys have met me at the last three Bashes and have also delt with me by email over the years. I think you know I am not despite what the odd disgruntled poster says a liar.
The Rx.com will be hiring new moderators very soon and I am sure you will be pleased with the selections we make.
Thanks, wil..
