of course every school as boosters that infiltrate the camp...but in the ucla case as evidenced by waltons book and uclas probation in the 7o's clearly show the allegations were flagrant...new cars, clothes, tickets, n money...all under the watch of gilbert but more importantly during the reign of wooden ..i guess i'm just sick of hearn how great the man is , when its obvious n clear as day he knew what was goin on...don't get me wrong ..i wouldve lookedthe other way to as would a lot of u guys n majority of coaches even today..but we r talikn about the wizard of westwood..college basketballs pinnacle example of how to run an organization..wooden's contributions to his fellow man can not be disputed,but his example to college basketball's ethics should have been a lot higher!!!!

Ucla was indeed put on probation after woodens retirement under Bartow but none of its championships were taken away...infractions upon infractions ...this is the danger with our society when the media can paint one individual as a god n one individual as a devil...no one is completely pure , bro !

just critiquing his ethics with his standards...which in hindsight does not live up to his great legacy...if his morals n what he preached were standards n a model for college athletics, he shouldve grown a conscience n admitted to the illusion at ucla.

however, if we are to regard him in such high esteem since he has set the bar for college athletics , should we not also examine the man's flaws ? This point is very legitimate ....if wooden did know cheating was involved , why didn't he stop it ?? if he couldnt have stopped it , Did he want to WIN so Bad at The Cost of His Morals That He Himself set N preached ??? How The FVck Is Not Relevant to his legacy n history ? This isnt about being classless ...its about being FAIR !
