Thanks for posting the plays Buckman. There are still a few of us who follows the plays. This used to be a happening thread, but since they moved it and he lost his baseball play, it died bigtime. But thanks for posting.

Thursday prayer

7/8 Pittsburgh [C]^<<^
Houston
Note: My MLB system has only lost 1 time in 6 years!:think2:
ALL but 1 of our wins so far this season have been at either the [A] or level!

Oswalt pitching today for Houston, but I'm all in baby.

I have absolutely no doubt that Pittsburgh will pull in the win
in this series. Let's go pick up the win!(per J.M.):hanging:

7/7 Pittsburgh
Houston
Note: My MLB system has only lost 1 time in 6 years!:think2:

ALL but 1 of our wins so far this season have been at either the [A] or level!

So the C bet lies on the mighty shoulders of Ross Ohlendorf...who has won all of one game this year...and who's on the mound for the Astros you ask?...just some guy named Oswalt...but hey...miracles happen every day...Godspeed!

You know, I love playing systems. I mean, I very rarily play a striaght game anymore. However, the one thing I don't like about systems like morrisons is, it never takes into consideration critical aspects of capping like starting pitching. This is a bad matchup today...oswalt has been good, and rusty finally got his first win. No capper in their right mind would take this game, unless they were taking on houston on the run line. But with that said, I couldn't count the number of times thru playing the systems, that we run across situations like this, and the game wins. As for myself, I'm not a big player, and mainly play for a hobby, so I'll play the thing really small. But if I was a player who did this for a living, I think I would have to pass.

Good luck guys and gals

Another 2 cents:

Ohlendorf vs Houston (career stats) - 5g, 0-5, 7.57 era

Oswalt vs Pitt (career stats) - 26g, 14-7, 2.62 era

Well at least you've got a Chinaman's chance with the run-line.

Good luck!

There you go.....Astros 2 Bucks 0

Glad I played this small plus, I didn't play the 1st game and played the second game on the moneyline...so didn't lose much at all.

Looks like Karma has caught up with Mr. Morrison, although, this has not been the best year for systems players.

Thanks for the info. Once I start playing for a little more money, I'll def check into Johns system. I'm sure it's awesome. Like I said, this is hobby for me, but If things keep going like they are, I'll be playing for some pretty decent bucks by the start of football season.

I didn't lose much at all on the Pitts play. I actually played Houston on Game 1 of another system I use, plus, I didn't like the play to begin with, but you know more times than not, the series you think won't win, do. So I played it mega small. I'll easily recoup those loses. Morrisons system accounts for a very small number of my plays.

Thanks for the info and I definatly plan on using his service soon.

i would chase pitt for these next two games vs mil

Why would you EVER chase them?...they're the WORST team in baseball...the only reason they have a better record than Baltimore is because they play in the worst division and Baltimore plays in the best...

Besides...Milwaukee just got their got their asses handed to them by the Giants and are lookin to whoop up on someone...and last time I checked...didn't they beat Pitt twice this year by like 100 runs...

You're certifiably insane if you chase Pitt...even if you get lucky and win...it's not a smart play.

All quiet on the Morrison front

Actually the title of "Worst Team in Baseball" belongs to the Cleveland Indians;+)-, although their record may be a 3 games better, they clearly are a team without direction. Yes we can easily lump in Pitt, Baltimore & Houston.

Just my 2 cents.

The Morrison people are eeerily silent today. Just can't wait to se how they spin their 2nd loss in 6 years:ohno:

Agree to disagree.

Ya...it really is amazing how you can go 6 years without a loss...and then WHAM...2 losses in the span of 20 games or so...it couldn't be the fact that his system just isn't that good...so I guess we'll just have to attribute it to bad luck.:hugesmile

You knew this was coming!!!!

Yesterday proved to be invaluable! Although The betting series with
Pittsburgh began with them being within the .15 range of RPI
differential, that quickly changed as soon as they lost their first
game. Pittsburgh had an RPI of .459 to Houston's .477 (.18 difference)
before the [B} wager began, and an even greater deficit before the
[C] game began. We must keep in mind that under no circumstances
should a wager be made when the RPI difference between two teams is
greater than .15. Going forward, it's important to walk away from a
betting series if the RPI difference between two teams become
greater than the .15 limit during any time within the series!:ohno:
