Again.
After 20 years, to leave this way, without the area being secure, and leave millions of $$$ in high tech weapons and sophisticated new jets and airports and military vehicles... for the enemy to utilize.
A USA Army private would know better, much less our Generals.
Why?
I can usually figure out why The Regime is purposely failing (defund police, open borders, close pipeline & fracking, CRT, spend unnecessary trillions, etc. etc.) but this is not understandable.
WTF is going on?
Any theories?

I always just come back to how much of an idiot Bush and his minions were thinking they could install democracy in these places. First off, they fuck their cousins a ton, that is not a recipe for a strong civilization. But besides that, their military's are so utterly useless compared to the insurgent groups. They couldn't hold Kabul for a week? Lol. I don't really care what happens there (other than the fact US gonna have to take a ton of refugees) but this was as predictable as it gets.

Once upon a time, the US military was designed to actually WIN wars. This is no longer the case.

Iraq seems to be stabilized once ISIS was defeated

The problem in both places was that they thought they could win quickly with a small force. The surge finally ended the Iraqi war, people had to feel safe working with Americans. Otherwise they feared for their lives

Afghanistan is a different story, we never committed to annihilating the enemy. Seems as if Trump did the best job with that country

Note @JoeBiden
& @SecDef
this is the kind of shit that happens when your intelligence and military capability is focused on political issues, and American citizens as threats, than the actual enemy.

Afghanistan has been at war for MORE THAN 40 YEARS. Their military is made up of former rebels
against the Soviets, the Taliban, and eventually the USA. Some families have three generations of
guerilla fighters among them.

But all of these Gov't. troops are either former rebels or tribal insurgents against one oppressor
or another....and a HUGE percentage of them are extremely adept at a popular Afghani strategy:

SWITCHING SIDES.

(A tempting strategy when you're NOT EVEN GETTING PAID by the corrupt
USA-installed puppets in Kabul. THEY stole billions. Literally.)

Many of them are previous Northern Alliance fighters (think 2001), others are local insurgents who
fought against ANY perceived enemy, and some are deserters from the Army that WE installed.

There is NO national loyalty; they are goat-herder cowards who do whatever they must to survive.
You cannot "nation build" in a land such as that.

It was lunacy to even THINK we could. :hammerit

America wants to know….. Will Blinken and Biden give the Taliban a pride flag to hang on the embassy?

there have been no more 9/11's to date, were we supposed to allow them to exist without retaliation?

if they are to prosper unchecked, we will see more violence exported once again

the world is not a better place today than it was just a few short months ago

You did not grasp what I wrote.

I am asking if any intelligent posters wonder if this is not as it seems, that they are doing this rushed and clumsily for a reason.

Is it a distraction? (vaccines failing---vaccine related deaths---more bad news coming, " maybe the "steal" audits are going to be difficult to debunk, inflation might be much worse than thought) so lets get out as we planned anyway, but who cares if it is messy.

Is it a set up for China to take over after?

That kind of thing.

AND no I do not fear The Regime but conservative-Republican-patriots have gotten their ass kicked by the globalist Dems for many years, and seem to control everything, that is of grave concern to me and I do not see a way out at this point.
