U and me both billsfan, glad to have this world cup going to keep from being bored during the dog days of summer. Should be an extremely competitive season here in ACC country, it at least half of the league can realistically compete for the conference title this season.

*** Denmark pk -118

Love this spot from the danes. Thought they were very competitive against a superior Dutch side and both teams are still alive and will be extermely motivated here. Think the Danes composure in the back and ability to poach goals will be the difference.

** Korea - Portugal Under 2.5 goals -130

Really unimpressed with this Portugese squad, they were lucky to qualify and haven't improved since then. They were at their worst versus the Ivory Coast, struggling to get any kind of consistent build-up in attack and flopping all around the pitch. Ronaldo started strong but was taken out of the game by a more physical CIV side. I like the organization from North Korea, they did well against a superior Brazil side and they were able to pack behind the ball. Expecting more of the same tomorrow, with some frustration arising for the Portugese in the final 1/3. Not having Deco in the middle of the pitch is crucial here. Think the draw has some value as well but I like the under more..

wow, portugal took out a ton of frustration right there. The edited footage that is actually shown in North Korea will be very short..

In running: * Chile -Swiss Tie +175

Swiss playing for a point, and their defense is tough. Would hate to come away with nothing if the Chileans can't break through..

** Spain Over 2.5 goals -130

Spain looking at a potential goal differential battle with the Swiss side to advance here, so will not be comfortable sitting back, even with an early lead. Honduras will play behind the ball but when they go down a goal they will have to venture forward if they are entertaining any thoughts of the 3rd game meaning anything. Could be a bloodbath here if the Spanish have better touch in the final 3rd..

Nice number.
I'm seeing it at -170.

Souza,

Cheaper because its just a team total. Only counts the Spanish goals. Not thinking Honduras will score but the juice is crazy on that (~ -250) prop so instead of paying the -170 and wasting it on a side who is doubtful to help I'm trying to save myself the juice. If and only if Spain wins 2-1 then they 40 cents were worth but a less than likely scoreline IMO. Honduran finishing was awful against the Chileans and expecting even fewer opportunities here today.

Nice, I didn't realize it was for the Spanish side only.
I like the play at the reduced juice.

I'm looking at a prop

SPAIN the only team to score -225.

It's a steep price, but I don't see Hondo getting a sniff today.

Agreed, expecting a 90 minute press here from the Spanish side, your saving 25 cents there versus the Honduras Under 0.5 goals by assuming the Spanish get a goal but it would be a major upset if they couldn't break through here. Only real chance would be on the counter like the Swiss were able to notch but their speed up top is lacking so the Spanish should be fine. Best of luck if you take that one, its expensive but should hit

I like the possible outcome but the price is a little too steep.
I think I'll look at some live action.

I'm on Spain -2 for the match.

good luck, Jimmy.

Heartbreaking loss on the Spanish 2' goals there, but I feel confident I had the right side there. It appears I wasn't the only one to come away from that game pissed off, so I'm just going to let it go and move on. Round 3 is here and motivation is transparent for everyone that is left:

Group A:

*** South Africa PK +127

Simply put, France is in terrible shape with all their off-the-field drama, and their form before they went through Anelkagate was already that of a severe underachiever. I thought the RSA-Uruguay scoreline was a disservice to the RSA performance, and I expect HFA to make a difference here. Everything is still to play for for the Hosts here, and I expect them to bring the game to the French side and help them go home and find a new coach as well as some talent that actually wants to play for Les Bleus.

** Mexico-Uruguay Over 1.5 -140
Both teams can advance with a draw but their is a huge difference between playing Argentina and Nigeria/Korea/Greece, so I expect the Mexicans to look to get forward to get the better 2nd round draw, which currently goes to Uruguay. Both teams have had ample attacking opportunities in their 2 contests and both looked to be rounding into form last time out with 2nd half goals. With advancement secured for no one here I don't expect that either team believes they can afford to sit back and try to defend all day.

Group B:

*** Argentina -1 +113

Even with advancement and the A seed already secured I don't expect too much trouble here for Argentina. Greeks were abysmal in this tournament until Kaita was sent off in the last game, and only then were they able to get at a shakey Nigerian side and turn the screws on that game. So the greeks have still never scored in an 11v11 situation at the world cup. The Argentines showed how much they love getting forward and they have a wealth of attacking options who will be packing the box all day. Maradona has taken alot of shit leading up to this tournament and hes the kind of cocky SOB who wants to take the full 9 here and try to send a message to the rest of the field. Argentina has looked shaky in the back in this tourney but their going to come out swinging IMO and try to show that the best defense is a rampant offense.

** Korea PK -133

Just woefully disappointed in this Nigerian side so far. They could have easily lost 4 or 5 0 to Argentina but were kept in it by great goalie play and once they went down to 10 men against the Greeks they were completely dominated. Really liked what ive seen from the South Korean squad; they look very well organized, making Greece look terrible and keeping up with the Argentines more or less for about 80'. Both teams can still advance so I expect a game that will force the Nigerians to attack and South Korea will look to play the counter. I'll take the team that has shown better form and more discipline in an important group B contest.
