Strouds season is more impressive rookie wise. And will almost definitely remain so. Damiels will not surpass that. Running QBs are always more likely to be advanced in their play because they don't have to rely on the hardest most skilled intellectual part of the game to learn which is passing. It takes longer. Anyone who can run can just take off and use their athleticism if they have it and make first downs. Over time that running will potentially become a negative with injuries and being banged upand likely have to rely on passing. Still gives defenses something more to deal with but ultimately great passers succeed.

He’s averaging less than 50 yards rushing per game .

Nope. Because of his running defenses have to deal with multiple things. Injuries, taking a beating and defenses evolving to deal with him after being able to adjust to what they see changes things. That doesn't mean he won' be a great QB just that his success means less early on. But that is just my opinion.
