If you really think about it... the entire Mahomes mystique is sooooooo overhyped.

Andy Reid was winning titles with "Pro Bowler" (LOL) Alex Smith before the Chiefs drafted Mahomes (ironically, the pick Buffalo traded to KC). Elite D, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, elite coaching, no bush league kickers etc. That's the cushy situation Mahomes was dropped into. Patrick Mahomes would have been wrecked by franchises like...the Bears, Cardinals, Browns, Redskins etc. and yeah, even the Bills, because that is what those franchises do to QBs. Last year Mahomes himself conceded their O stunk and would have missed the playoffs without their #1-rated D.

The Bears never get it right. Williams has talent but this Daniel's kid ceiling looks unbelievable. He has to stay healthy but he already looks like a baby Mahomes. Washington could be the new King of the NFC East in 3 years.

You said Jayden was the man when I asked, Chop. I then went and did about two or three hours of film study on the top QB prospects and agreed that Daniels was the guy the Pats should target. He never got to #3. That's when the Pats shoulda gone to Plan B.

Daniels has started off like he can do no wrong. Best rookie QB start I've ever seen - by far.
