I hope you are right for the sake of the Redskins though I find little joy rooting for Commandos.
But means nothing just look at that Sunshine bum in Jacksonville who has turned to trash and is still young. Few good game especially for a running QB doesn't mean much. Runners have the most success early as they can keep their team in it with pure athleticism. When teams adjust a bit and worries of injuries set in we see if they are SB material.

So many of these highly touted college QBs feast on playbooks that don't work in the NFL. Do scouts not realize this when they are evaluating these kids?
How's CJ Stroud looking so far? Seems like the DCs are catching up to him.
I mention this because most woke TV analysists consider him better than "overrated" Josh Allen.

Still take Mahomes. Without a doubt better passer and higher football IQ and clutch gene. You can make whatever excuses you want for Allen but Mahomes owns him and is the Brady of his era. It is like voting for Kamala to Trump to say Allen is better. Only the blind and stupid would say so. If you really think about it... the entire Mahomes mystique is sooooooo overhyped.
Andy Reid was winning titles with "Pro Bowler" (LOL) Alex Smith before the Chiefs drafted Mahomes (ironically, the pick Buffalo traded to KC). Elite D, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, elite coaching, no bush league kickers etc. That's the cushy situation Mahomes was dropped into. Patrick Mahomes would have been wrecked by franchises like...the Bears, Cardinals, Browns, Redskins etc. and yeah, even the Bills, because that is what those franchises do to QBs. Last year Mahomes himself conceded their O stunk and would have missed the playoffs without their #1-rated D.
Contrast this to Josh Allen, who took a bottom feeder and singlehandedly transformed them into a contender year after year. The Bills stink at everything! Yet Allen is elite no matter who is catching the ball, which is the very definition of elite franchise QB (Brady, Favre, Manning etc.) No Diggs? No problem. Who is catching the ball in Buffalo right now? Nobody the casual fan could name. Everyone. And to think his previous OCs didn't even utilize vintage Allen... play-action, bootlegs, never lined up under center, Bills hardly ran the ball forcing Allen to be Superman on every play etc. In other words, with Joe Brady as the OC, you are witnessing the elite QB Allen always has been.

I hate the Chiefs. They're not explosive or fun to watch. Mahomes already has 4 INTs...bad ones. And they always play down to the opposition. That's annoying too. Meaning, you can't bet on them - they never cover because every game is a drama-filled nail biter down to the last play, often with the zebras having to come to their rescue. Almost blowing it against the Falcons?? What's up with that???
But Joe, Mahomes has 3 rings! Who cares! With all the made-for-TV theatrics I've witnessed watching this team, so would everyone!

Caleb was already acting like a diva squawking and making threats long before the draft. Houston D looked like Pro-Bowlers blitzing him all night, and it took him 3 games to throw his first TD yesterday against the Colts.
