Sport,
My clarification was made. I believe this to be a religious war, a war which the Christians and Jews did not start.

Eek,
In a sense your right, America has not DECLARED war since Japan. Watch it though - many wars on many different fronts have been fought since, all undeclared - don't try act so smart all the time. Hollywood was wrong with Vietnam, North Korea and with Clintons affairs as well as special operational wars which we are not privy.

Debate summary:

Title: THE MEDIA FINDS A WAY TO WEASEL OUT
My opinion was Bush did no better than he did in debate 1 or 2. The media says this was his best. What a joke. It was propbably his worse. BUT, the media can now instruct the pollsters to start putting out the accurate numbers. Bush wins very easily - always has been that way. The sleazy media will let the light shine - to bad for Kerry backers. Bush was awful in this debate but the media foresees the blowout as well and long ago...
Joke press and you stupids got taken in by it - HAHAHAHAHAHAH

You rightie tuff guys have got yourself a nice sh1t sandwich.
If the righties have a sh1t sandwich, that means the lefties do too. When are the lefties going to make the mental contection that they are STILL part of this country and it's people, regardless of who's in the White House?

If Kerry is elected, I'm not going to run my mouth off and insult my country for the next four years. I'm going to get behind him and support him, and hope he makes great decisions. As a bonus if Kerry does get elected, maybe that will put that fat-ass Michael Moore out of business.

Eek's definition of being "at war" is too narrow. A country doesn't have to make formal declarations to be at war with another country. Open armed fighting between nations means they are at war with each other. I hope Eek hasn't been running around all this time saying that the U.S. wasn't at war against Germany in WWII.

I'm sure you've had to endure your share of bullsh*t since 9/11 and that is unjust
actually, up here in Canada... or when I have travelled to USA, I have not been subject to anything negative at all... To put it in context I am 50/50 (mother is white) so that may be why...

one of my buddies at my work who is muslim with a beard was cornered in a Tim Hortons & told to get out of the country by a bunch of rednecks.... The Man works hard & contributes 35% of his salary to taxes.... what a shame:neenee:

That's too bad. I heard and read about a lot of similar stories down here in Florida. I've noticed that Muslims hardly ever go out in public alone here either. They are almost always in groups on three or more.

Imagine how uncomfortable a girl whose parents force her to where that 'burkha' in north America...

She must feel terrible walking down the streets with all kinds of glares... horrible really...

To be honest... not to sound all might or anything... but this doesnt really happen much here in Canada.... But I could see it being really hard to be a Young muslim girl, say in Missisipi or Texas?

Ive also heard of alot of Cab Drivers fearing for their lives... Especially in New York

Actually, Canada is where a lot of Muslims fled to post-9/11 to get away from this discrimination and harassment. I saw something on the news where they were getting hundreds every day crossing over into Canada.

High school kids were getting picked on really bad, to the point where they couldn't go to school any more. That really sucks. I have a boy in 11th grade. If my boy had to go through that, it would break my heart.

(Good night)

You're exactly right -- Germany declared war on the U.S. first, in response to our declaration of war on Japan, which was a treaty obligation of the Tripartite Pact, entered into between Germany, Italy and Japan in 1940. Tripartite was the first formalisation of the "Axis Powers," a term coined by Mussolini in the 30's to describe the relationship between Italy and Germany and the rest of Europe.

So, um, joint, bearing in mind this small bit of history could you maybe rephrase your question?
