America must be doing something right, because American culture is the most imitated, envied, and influencial culture in the world, in spite of liberal self-haters such as yourself. The growth and accomplishment that America has achieved in it's 3 or 4 centuries is unparalleled in the history of mankind.

Since these extremists obviously don't represent the vast majority of Muslims, are non-extremist Muslims, such as yourself, doing anything to try to get these fellows in line? SAVANT,I believe what you say, and I agree that it's an extremely complicated situation that isn't making life better for anyone, especially moderate Muslims or those of Muslim descent such as yourself. I'm sure you've had to endure your share of bullsh*t since 9/11 and that is unjust. The world has become too small over the last century to have raging, unyielding conflicts of culture. It's far too easy in this day and age to do serious harm to one another. Let's hope the we've seen the worst of this, cause it's getting old.
