This is why you don't go tout after one good season. You have to show that you have what it takes over the long haul, which you can't do in one season.
As someone who wants to release pro football picks for a living, it amazes me how fast people become touts. Everyone with a computer and internet access is a handicapper now.

Great post Lou. Touts on here are just waiting for a nice little run at the roulette wheel. They know they can't produce over the long run, so they have to cash in while they can. It doesn't matter that Jake has no clue how to make a baseball line, or how to determine line value when wagering on a total. Jake can be an 'baseball handicapping specialist' because he claims to be.
We saw the same garbage with theerodfather. Rather than helping others out with handicapping techniques or information, it is all centered on running up a good record to sell their picks. Dogball gets his ass handed to him the last few days, ruining his record. So obviously now is the time to double the wager size; he's gotta keep those units high to bring in the business.
The touts on here have no desire to educate the masses. Go to the Handicapping zone and see how many touts post in there. I see Big Lou in there talking about money management. I see ATX in there spouting out some great stuff on a variety of subjects. I see Ben Dover donating his data. Jack Dee and Capsmaster offer some great advice. Grand Slam detailing some of his handicapping styles. But where is Rodfather? Jake? Dogball? Any others shilling for gambling bucks?
Nowhere to be found. Disappointing yes, but telling. Those that can't, sell. Those that can, bet.
