The Saints injury depleted defense will give the Cardinals weapons plenty of chances to make plays. The only question is whether the offensive line will be able to keep Palmer out of trouble. The defense looks like the weak link for New Orleans, as injuries affected the secondary during the preseason. It’s a tall order opening on the road two time zones away, and for those reasons the Saints are the perceived underdog. On defense, Arizona's elite secondary will be tested by Drew Bree's and company. Expect double coverage on speedster Brandon Cooks all afternoon. Saints coordinator Rob Ryan will be creative in his calls and that’s going to lead to some ugly plays for the Cardinals. But it also provides opportunities, provided Palmer and the rest of the offense can identify where the ball should go. Cardinals running backs Andre Ellington and Chris Johnson will share the running load. New defensive coordinator James Bettcher and the Cards are looking for more pressure on the QB this year from guys like Alex Okafor, who had a team-high eight sacks last year, along with 2015 draft picks Rodney Gunter and Markus Golden. Cards coach Bruce Arians has also talked up veteran defensive end Calais Campbell, who was invited to his first Pro Bowl last season after notching seven sacks last year. Can Campbell, Okafor and the rookies get pressure on Drew Brees, who was sacked just 29 times last year? Ans> Big Yes!!!!. Don’t be surprised if rookie David Johnson makes an impact as a receiver. Arizona's new look linebacker group should have a good day against a new look Saints offensive line and running back Mark Ingram. Between the Saints injury issues and lack of weapons on offense, Arizona should have the upper hand. Bruce Arians will have his boys ready to go.
Prediction: System Smitty Ryann Jr. %[Percentage] Rating Against Vegas Point Spread> Saints without Jimmy Graham make this a likely easy cover for the home team Arizona wins 24-17 or something like that? I'am also going with the Cardinals by a 3-1 margin 63% at -5 [ power rating NO 25- ARI 20= ARI -5
