The movie All eyes on me is something I'm really looking forward too

pac was as complex as they came... I wish we had the chance to see how he would have evolved with age .

Blacks like to think it is "deeper" than that. They think it has some sort of meaning. It really is comical. Like watching a group of 3 of them say something so stupid and all 3 have to act like it is the funniest thing they ever heard in their life yet an actual sentence is never even said. But they will start falling over on each other laughing without more than a couple words being chirped out.

I remember my friend in college said to some homeboy "I think thats the dude that shot Tupac" We laughed. I can't believe I remember that. I don't know shit about him except that and he was in a basketball movie 20 years ago.

I remember it well. Some high roller friends of mine got tickets for the fight at the MGM. After the fight there was a lot of trouble at the MGM, they closed all the bars until people from the fight left. Crazy night. I think I still have the ticket stub from the fight that night.

Those who disagree with that don't grasp where his lyrics and overall "message" were plainly starting to Evolve to, what his goals were becoming and the path that was unfolding for him, presenting itself to him.

A place of Positivity and away from the (run-of-the-mill for Rap & Hip Hop) Negative and/or Boasting (Bragging, talking about how Great one's self is).

The Positive Words he delivered in Defense of Women, an example of this. Even moreso the deep regret he came to feel for the less than positive words he'd delivered about Women, in some of his writings.

In the moths before his death he spoke of very Positive stuff, a desire to impact The Black Experience and Race Relations in ways that had he not died may have even made him able to keep us from some of what we're seeing now with The Divide between Black & White.

It seems Over-Stated, I know, but had he lived there was a better than average chance that he would have "Risen" here to a level that would have blown minds and accomplished stuff for Blacks and Race Relations that would have been great.

He had the Mind to do it, The Charisma, The Desire and a platform which would have enabled him to (potentially) accomplish remarkable things.

You don't see that combination of things present within too many people and the Last piece of "the puzzle", he had that also.

Existing within a time of exceptional need for him to do those remarkable things, even demanding of him that he accomplish those things.

That time being right now. With the great Division we have between Black & White, Rich & Poor.

I wish, also, that you had the chance to see how he would have evolved with age.

You might have witnessed one of the most remarkable stories ever and a whole bunch of Violence and Suffering here may have been avoided.

Let's go easy on using the word "legend" to identify Tupac Shaker.

If you don`t like the thread title (Again) then just stay out of my threads like you were told.....I was also told via PM to stay out of yours.....And i sure have......And i will continue to stay out of your threads like i was told.....I really like it that way.

So try and keep up your end of the bargain so we don`t have anymore problems here at THERX.

Thank you!

He was such a poet. So deep...

The younger generation puts this dude on a pedastool. He was a great rapper when he wanted to be for sure. And even talented as an actor. But this mythical status that some believe him to be is really silly.

Hahahahah. I klistened to about 30 seconds of that. Didn't hear much except " fuck your wife" something about ass and about 20 niggas which by the way nigga is completely acceptable in homeboy vernacular.

This is a full interview Sway did w/ Allan Hughes (Director of Menace 2 Society) regarding his "fight" with 2Pac. I find him and his story very credible... I had just listened to this but on a different interview on an old "Champs" Podcast episode a few days ago and figured I'd post this interview here. Not so much to shit on Pac (b/c I am a fan of some of his music) but more to keep things in context in that he was just a dude.. and a very flawed one at that. People talk about him as if he was Nelson Mandela.
