AMER: Why do you think people have been warring with each other since humans came to exist?
BAR: That's your misperception that we're inviting you to reconsider.
Only certain humans have been warring against other humans.
AMER: That's my point! You're catching on quickly.
"Natural born" implies a biological implant of some kind. Thus it is an inappropriate modifier for what you're trying to describe.
And that is, I believe, your perception that certain races and/or ethic groups are inexorably drawn to warring with other certain races and/or ethnic groups.
In less enlightened times, there may have been a modicum of truth to that. However in the 21st century, it's an axiom that is easily disproved. Note the huge melting pot of people across both the U.S. and also the rest of the world that live together with great harmony.
It is only when one party or another introduces violence into the relationship that people 'war'.
AMER: Thank you for pointing that out. 2 cultures + violence=war.
In Iraq 2003, the United States of America introduced the violence and bloodshed. All violence in Iraq during the subsequent 13 months is a byproduct of our invasion.
Or a by-product of Saddam Hussein being born, depending on how far back you want to go with it.
That's man-made, not 'natural-born'. And that's great news, because man-made mistakes can be corrected, while natural-born characteristics often cannot.
I'm talking about what's deep in man's black heart. You go in there, you'll find out some things they didn't talk about in your high school social studies class.
That is, unless those who made the initial mistake ignore their error and just keep pounding their head against the wall, hoping to break thru the concrete.
Sadly though, it's not the heads of Bush and Co that are being pounded to dust..it's my friends, family and neighbors and yours as well. I'm startled that you're you don't seem even remotely angry about those who have sent your own friends, family and neighbors to their violent, unneeded deaths.
I'm angry at the people that killed them and I want them put down.
(Proving that LANDER is not the only one capable of lengthy exhalations in the pursuit of truth and accuracy.)
You haven't said anything, and took a hell of a long time doing it.
