In a bid to investigate the reports, El Paso-based ABC-7 News contacted a number of federal agencies linked to border security and was told “the report is unverified, and it is unlikely that Isis is in Anapra or Juarez, Mexico”.

So no one knows for sure? But you're sure?

Yeah, I'm going to go with a member of Congress, Fox and the Independent over Judicial Watch which calls itself "a conservative foundation, fights for accountability and integrity in law, politics and government. Because no one is above the law!".

No one knows for sure that ISIS hasn't set up on Pluto. That doesn't mean they have. ISIS has its hands full in the Middle East. Most likely anything they get done here will be of the lone wolf radicalized US citizen variety not spending a fortune getting guys from the Middle East to Mexico to the US.

Well you certainly are entitled to your opinion.

Saying something has not been verified is a ring around the rosies response. It is not a denial, it is not a confirmation. Anyone who thinks a local Mexican authority cannot be bought off needs to reconsider. Regardless of whether or not it is true it is a signal that we need to tighten our borders and anyone who does not agree with that has been Obamasized. I feel sorry for those Americans living near the border. We are exposing them to more than they should be. Obama would not even visit the border when he was visiting Texas but it is ok for locals to cope with all of this.

Like I said a couple of times, if this cannot be verified by satelite wtf. Yes ISIS has it's hands full in the Middle East but they have threatened the U.S. and even the WH. Yesterday a guy lands a mini-chopper on the WH lawn. Hmmmm, maybe that has ISIS's attention. Do you think.

Is your investigation top secret? I haven’t seen anything in the news rebutting the Judicial Watch article.

What investigation?

Nobody cares about Judicial Watch and nobody finds it reputable in this business. The story isn't true unless new information comes out.

Believe a guy involved with the situation or Judicial Watch. Up to you.

[h=2]FBI Holds “Special” Meeting in Juárez to Address ISIS, DHS Not Invited[/h]APRIL 16, 2015

Responding to Judicial Watch’s report earlier this week of ISIS activity along the Mexican border, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) supervisors called a “special” meeting at the U.S. Consulate in Ciudad Juárez.
A high-level intelligence source, who must remain anonymous for safety reasons, confirmed that the meeting was convened specifically to address a press strategy to deny Judicial Watch’s accurate reporting and identify who is providing information to JW. FBI supervisory personnel met with Mexican Army officers and Mexican Federal Police officials, according to JW’s intelligence source. The FBI liaison officers regularly assigned to Mexico were not present at the meeting and conspicuously absent were representatives from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). It’s not clear why DHS did not participate.
Publicly, U.S. and Mexico have denied that Islamic terrorists are operating in the southern border region, but the rapid deployment of FBI brass in the aftermath of JW’s report seems to indicate otherwise. A Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector were among the sources that confirmed to JW that ISIS is operating a camp just a few miles from El Paso, Texas. The base is around eight miles from the U.S. border in an area known as “Anapra” situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua.
Another ISIS cell to the west of Ciudad Juárez, in Puerto Palomas, targets the New Mexico towns of Columbus and Deming for easy access to the United States, the same knowledgeable sources confirm. During the course of a joint operation last week, Mexican Army and federal law enforcement officials discovered documents in Arabic and Urdu, as well as “plans” of Fort Bliss – the sprawling military installation that houses the US Army’s 1st Armored Division. Muslim prayer rugs were recovered with the documents during the operation.
“Coyotes” engaged in human smuggling – and working for the Juárez Cartel – help move ISIS terrorists through the desert and across the border between Santa Teresa and Sunland Park, New Mexico. To the east of El Paso and Ciudad Juárez, cartel-backed “coyotes” are also smuggling ISIS terrorists through the porous border between Acala and Fort Hancock, Texas. These specific areas were targeted for exploitation by ISIS because of their understaffed municipal and county police forces, and the relative safe-havens the areas provide for the unchecked large-scale drug smuggling that was already ongoing.
Last August JW reported that ISIS, operating from Ciudad Juárez, was planning to attack the United States with car bombs or other vehicle borne improvised explosive devices (VBIED). High-level U.S. federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources confirmed then that a warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border had been issued. Agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies were placed on alert and instructed to aggressively work all possible leads and sources concerning the imminent terrorist threat.

Don’t give me that babe in the woods, What investigation?

You said, and I quote, “Because I work in the US Government and am very close to this situation and can say it's bullshit because I had to make a few phone calls on it.

Believe me or not. Up to you.”

So you’re very close to this situation and making phone calls but not investigating? What are you doing, setting up lunch dates?

Why don’t you just admit that you don’t know anymore than anyone else.

If Judicial Watch is full of shit and not reputable, why is the FBI getting involved?

You do realize that what Russ posted is another Judicial Watch post, right? The only organization "reporting" the FBI getting involved is the same organization that "reported" ISIS in Mexico. I think it's safe to say if Judicial Watch is full of shit and not reputable then the FBI isn't actually getting involved.

Dave wants Isis in Mexico, Dave wants Isis in the United States.... He can then blame Obama. That's why he is arguing this. When the story turns out to be bullshit....he will move on without acknowledging it. Been thru this kind of thing s dozen times with him. Good luck.

Mants.

One thing for sure, Judicial Watch isn’t backing off their story. If the story turns out to be bogus they’ll take a serious hit to their reputation.

They’ve been around for 21 years and have a track record of exposing government.

They even sued the George W. Bush administration for access to minutes of Vice President Dick Cheney's Energy Task Force. So it’s not like they’re right wing partisan hacks.

You just took a stubborn stand and don’t want to believe the story has any merit. OK by me.

No question the "JV team" already has sleeper cells in the USA awaiting orders.

-200 the story is BS. There is more chance of a Hamas cell in Dearborn.
ISIS is still largely trying to hold territory. I'm sure they'd love to be able to set the world ablaze in global jihad but they don't have the resources and may likely never reach that level. They may have sympathizers here and a few groups of like-minded individuals. But not the command and control to conduct large-scale operations.

Yeah yeah ..... but I only tap the ruler on Joe's hand when he thinks he needs to overstate and sensationalize to hammer home his point that Obama is a Shitstain. Joe has already made that poi,er, no actually it was Obama himself. And he does it over and over again. It amazes me really. We have a president who doesn't live in reality (and that is the point Russ makes in the parenthesis when titling this thread) and waiting in the wings to replace him is this arrogant bitch who also doesn't live in reality. And she's going to win!

Islamic State threatens to repeat 9/11 in new video warning to America

Isil supporters launch social media blitz with hashtag #WeWillBurnUSAgain

jihadi-video_3265282b.jpg

The video is a reminder of the power of Isil and Al-Qaeda to inspire followers around the world to 'lone wolf'

By Richard Spencer

11:25AM BST 13 Apr 2015

Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant's social media have launched a new campaign threatening to repeat 9/11 and bring war to America.

The campaign, given the hashtag #WeWillBurnUSAgain, is accompanied by a video compilation showing some of Isil’s “greatest hits”, including the beheadings of the American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff.

“America thinks it’s safe because of the geographical location,” its voiceover says. “Thus you see it invades Muslim lands, and thinks that the army of jihad won’t reach in their lands.

“But the dream of Americans to have safety became a mirage.”

The hashtag campaign was announced on April 8, last Wednesday, and launched on Saturday, when pro-Isil accounts posted thousands of tweets with the hashtag with variations on the same theme, of America’s vulnerability to lone wolf and other attacks.

You are playing a game of "street war" But We are do the real streets of war , . Wolves war against the sheep of America#WewillBurnUSAgain
— ™ ?????? ??? ???? ™ (@SHHADAH_951) April 10, 2015

Altogether, the hashtag has been used more than 15,000 times, according to Site, the terrorism and extremism monitoring group.

The video, as well as reprising the 9/11 attacks on America, also shows parts of the mass beheadings of captives in Syria, and discusses the role of Ahmed Coulibaly, the French attacker who shot four hostages in a French kosher supermarket in January.

Coulibaly, who was killed at the scene, claimed allegiance to Islamic State. There is no mention of his friends the Kouachi brothers who were responsible for the Charlie Hebdo attacks at the same time - they claimed allegiance to al-Qaeda instead.

The video also makes great play of recent computer hacking achievements of Isil supporters, who briefly took over US Central Command social media accounts and managed to leak personal details of US servicemen.

The video and the threats it contains are a reminder of the power of Isil and al-Qaeda to inspire followers around the world to “lone wolf” or sporadic attacks in the West.

"In recent weeks, about 10 Americans were indicted for attempts to act on behalf of the Islamic State, and there are many with every passing day that the group operates on Twitter,” Rita Katz, Site’s director, wrote.

Site highlighted a tweet which read: “We are all Lone Wolves and we will fight you all as you fight against us”.

Others showed pictures of wounded and disabled American soldiers from previous wars in the Middle East, and some offered crude portraits of PresidentBarack Obama as the devil.

However, the campaign also marks something of a change of strategy, in which Isil has previously focused its efforts on the “near war” in Syria and Iraq, against Shia and other local enemies, while al-Qaeda focuses on the “far war” against the West.

Isil is currently losing ground in Iraq, where it lost Tikrit to government and Shia militia forces, and has also been pushed back in high-profile parts of Syria like Kobane, though it has also made advances elsewhere.

Considering how porous the borders are, what's the over/under on how many ISIS members have already crossed without getting caught, Scotty?

Mexico scrambles to find stolen radioactive material

Mexico City (AFP) - Authorities appealed for help among Mexico's population on Thursday to locate stolen radioactive material, the latest theft of such dangerous substances in the country.

The interior ministry issued an alert in five southern and eastern states late Wednesday, two days after a toolbox-sized container carrying the Iridium-192 source was snatched from a truck in a residential parking lot in Cardenas, Tabasco state.

Oh, so the real and imminent threat is JW informing the public, not ISIS camps in Mexico. Got it.

Remember, this is a regime that says "right wing extremists" are the biggest terrorist threat in America, not Radical Islam.

Absolutely sickening!

Hey guy, some guys like FZ and Betall know what I do for a living. They'll tell you I know a little about some shit I'm not going to explain to you. If you don't believe me, I don't give a shit. I know a lot more about this situation than you. Believe me or not. I don't care.

There is no investigation. The FBI has no information that is reputable this so called "ISIS Camp" exists. The FBI is not involved because it's not real.

Jesus Christ dude, don't believe everything you read especially from Judicial Watch. If it's real, why isn't CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox or anyone else reporting on it? Because it's not reputable.
