ISIS Camp a Few Miles from Texas, Mexican Authorities Confirm

APRIL 14, 2015

ISIS is operating a camp just a few miles from El Paso, Texas, according to Judicial Watch sources that include a Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector.

The exact location where the terrorist group has established its base is around eight miles from the U.S. border in an area known as “Anapra” situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Another ISIS cell to the west of Ciudad Juárez, in Puerto Palomas, targets the New Mexico towns of Columbus and
Deming for easy access to the United States, the same knowledgeable sources confirm.

During the course of a joint operation last week, Mexican Army and federal law enforcement officials discovered documents in Arabic and Urdu, as well as “plans” of Fort Bliss – the sprawling military installation that houses the US Army’s 1st Armored Division. Muslim prayer rugs were recovered with the documents during the operation.

Law enforcement and intelligence sources report the area around Anapra is dominated by the Vicente Carrillo Fuentes Cartel (“Juárez Cartel”), La Línea (the enforcement arm of the cartel) and the Barrio Azteca (a gang originally formed in the jails of El Paso). Cartel control of the Anapra area make it an extremely dangerous and hostile operating environment for Mexican Army and Federal Police operations.

According to these same sources, “coyotes” engaged in human smuggling – and working for Juárez Cartel – help move ISIS terrorists through the desert and across the border between Santa Teresa and Sunland Park, New Mexico. To the east of El Paso and Ciudad Juárez, cartel-backed “coyotes” are also smuggling ISIS terrorists through the porous border between Acala and Fort Hancock, Texas. These specific areas were targeted for exploitation by ISIS because of their understaffed municipal and county police forces, and the relative safe-havens the areas provide for the unchecked large-scale drug smuggling that was already ongoing.

Mexican intelligence sources report that ISIS intends to exploit the railways and airport facilities in the vicinity of Santa Teresa, NM (a US port-of-entry). The sources also say that ISIS has “spotters” located in the East Potrillo Mountains of New Mexico (largely managed by the Bureau of Land Management) to assist with terrorist border crossing operations. ISIS is conducting reconnaissance of regional universities; the White Sands Missile Range; government facilities in Alamogordo, NM; Ft. Bliss; and the electrical power facilities near Anapra and Chaparral, NM.

This report is bullshit. We had to dig deep into it yesterday. The FBI already confirmed it's not true.

Judicial Watch has a history of doing this.

Judicial Watch has a history of doing this.

The government of Mexico dismisses and categorically denies each of the statements made by the organization Judicial Watch on the alleged presence of ISIS's operating cells throughout the border region, particularly at Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua — El Paso, Texas.

The relevant authorities operating in the region have also confirmed the inexistence of these activities with their US counterparts, with whom they will continue to work closely and to exchange information at our common border."

My goodness, with satelites everywhere this should be confirmed by satelite watch not by whata someone from the Mexican Gov't denies. In this day and age and that close to our border there should be evidence one way or another. However, members of ISIS have been caught crossing our border and my thoughts are how many have not been caught.

With or without a camp in Mexico ISIS is a threat to this country and that is the bottom line. Snopes or no Snopes lol.

FBI Director James Comey revealed Wednesday that his agency is investigating suspected supporters of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in every state across the U.S.

"We have investigations of people in various stages of radicalizing in all 50 states," Comey told a winter meeting of the National Association of Attorneys General.

Now if you believe Comey what makes you think ISIS is not across the Mexican border?

Because I work in the US Government and am very close to this situation and can say it's bullshit because I had to make a few phone calls on it.

Believe me or not. Up to you.

Is your investigation top secret? I haven’t seen anything in the news rebutting the Judicial Watch article.

It's been refuted. This is some Alex Jones type BS.
I gotta tell ya......none of that matters to Dave. We've seen proof of obamas birth certificate, social security number, his attending college and Dave thinks those are all lies. Hell he believes a proven liar and convicted felon Larry sanclair had sex with Obama.

Once his cult tells him something not even video changes his mind.

THAT one was a layup for me. Those BS stories always have the same style. They're as easy to spot as Jaguara's next ghost.

Come on, Scott. Mexican intelligence officials routinely know what the Islamic State plans to do before US intelligence officials do. As a wise TV character once said, "Story like that has got to be true."

Well, it seems to be unanimous. No ISIS across the border in Mexico.

Funny thing though, I don’t see any proof just a bunch of opinions.

just sit in the corner....ties your hands behind your back....even though I know that shuts off your entire social life....it makes the world a smarter place.....think of it as helping the country.

If you don't believe me, would you believe foxnews?

http://latino.foxnews.com/latino/ne...raining-camp-on-us-mexico-border-congressman/

Do you have any proof that they are 8 miles or whatever from El Paso? Or just some Alex Jones Infowars quality journalism.

Well Fox news reported what Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX) said but we all know that Fox news is always lies, right Vit?

One source is a rumor, two is conformation. Journalism 101.

So far we’re tied 1-1.

In a bid to investigate the reports, El Paso-based ABC-7 News contacted a number of federal agencies linked to border security and was told “the report is unverified, and it is unlikely that Isis is in Anapra or Juarez, Mexico”.

So no one knows for sure? But you're sure?

im with ya Dave. I'm watching twins/royals....they showed the parking lot and I saw a suspicious tent. Damn ISIS made it to Minnesota
