Yes, I know what you mean, Iceman. Thanks for the small sampling. I have been spending more time in recent months trying to expand my betting breadth (as well as bankroll) and studying line movements, halftime lines (even if only to look at how the halftime lines move one way or another for 10 minutes; lurking basically). I saw so many arbing/scalping opportunities that was staring in front of my eyes but I either didn't have the resources or an account at a particular book. I also do agree that 30 bets on a moderate night (esp when having a big card in one sport like the NBA tonight) are easy to make when factoring into making multiple bets on O/U, 1H/2H, Game selections.Iceman said:this is just a small sampling. I really like CBB better but the board is small lately. Remember these are not WA and I will get out of some if the numbers go against me. Combines with the fact that I have a few locals that use newspaper lines (worse part is I am barely up on them).
I will also try to middle some of these bets if it looks worth it. I find most of my plays right before games and have done GREAT with halftimes (something I never did last year). Hard to get a complete feel posting them but looking at getting great numbers overall.
I would think that to answer your initial question, it all boils down to the ability to sustain your bankroll (NOT speaking in general BR terms, no... but more of having sufficient bankroll at all of your online/local accounts) to continue maximize (or at least grab) any opportunities out there *AFTER being in a slump*.
As Doug just mentioned, he keeps pouring money into Pinny (as to make my point) that you may be better off not increasing from $100 a play to $200 a play because if you hit a slump of going 10-20 in one night, but most of them at one book... but next night, you see a major scalping/arbing opportunity at THAT book (as you said, you are more aggressive $ wise on those), you may not have the resources to hit it much, etc.
This thread has been fascinating to read... lot of knowledge being shared, love the RX for that!
