absolutely true! very few players/spectators or teams have a team sport mentality anymore. The Spurs still do and thats why they still win.
I played and coached (kids) but I am not sure how much more credibility it gives. MJ also played and his judgement of players isnt the best....
But having experiences playing is one of the reasons I was not much of a Kobe fan. He is not a someone I would want to be a teammate of

Way higher TS% and PER. Getting to the line 10x a game and hitting 2.5 3s.

I think his point was Kobe isn't efficient at all and just chucking on a bad team. Probably wouldn't be comparing his offensive output to Harden.

He's leading the league in scoring because he's taking 23.1 shots per game (Melo is 2nd in FGA at 18.9) not because he's playing great basketball. On top of that, his FG% and FT% are both the lowest of his career.
