[h=1]Poor Reporter Felt Bill Belichick's Wrath Over Bad Chargers Question[/h]Published 5 hours ago

NBC Sports - Boston

A poor reporter felt Bill Belichick's wrath over
Reporter: "Bill, do you see any similarities with Williams and Allen?"
Belichick: Williams...
Reporter: The wide receiver.
Belichick: There's two of them. (Tyrell Williams and Mike Williams)
Reporter: Um... Mike?
Belichick: *head-shaking death stare*
There are, in fact, two receivers named Williams on the Chargers, and both are quite talented: The duo combined for 15 of Los Angeles' 32 receiving touchdowns this season and each had more than 650 receiving yards.
After properly shaming the reporter for his lack of Chargers receiver knowledge, Belichick answered the question anyway.
"Um, look, they have a very good receiving group," Belichick said. "They're big, fast. They're hard to tackle after the catch. They make big plays down the field. Both the Williams' are averaging about 15 yards a catch, something like that."
Don't expect the Patriots to overlook either Williams on Sunday in what could be a close-fought AFC Divisional Round matchup.

"Is Bill Belichick overrated?"

I just concluded a little New England study.

Here are the Belichick facts since he paired up with Tom Brady. (This is the 18th season)

18 of 18 years with at least 9 wins.

16 Playoff seasons of 18

14-2 At least one Playoff win in 14 of 16 seasons

15 of 18 season in the divisional game

12-2 SU in Divisional games played

This is a Dynasty like no other and Belichick is the brains and the engine.

How can the best ever be overrated?

Should go to 5-0 Sunday

The Patriots will face the 0-4 Washington Redskins in their Week 5 matchup, and it’ll be a solid game to refine this offense.

I think Bill deserves all the accolades he receives but 6 games a year against the Jets, Bills, and Dolphins have helped.....winning your division is really important....

Spygate, Deflategate, and nearly never having a holding call against you in the playoffs has also helped!!!

you know, there are people here that argue that it's Belichick's system that made Brady

now you're saying Brady made Belichick

damn, we're catching it from both sides

if the Pat's weren't the winningest team in the NFL, I guess we wouldn't be having these discussions

I'm cool

:)
Same discussion 8 years later. :)

Meanwhile both cemented themselves as the greatest Coach and QB of ALL Time.

or is it ridiculous to even say this?

It is ridiculous. The guy is not nice, he cheats, and he is not going to win any community service awards, but he certainly does know how to win at football. He has a chance to be better than Don Shula if he stays in the game long enough. Shula was the best, but until Bill gets that many wins too, he is in Don Shula's shadow. LOL

Don Shula... ROFL. Says the guy from Florida.

Don barely reached .500 in his career in the playoffs.

He's not in the conversation.

He's the greatest coach of the modern era. Every current and former player doesn't talk about all the poppycock some fans use to try to diminish his accomplishments, what they all do talk about is

Preparation

Execution
Doing your job

Billy Boy wouldn't have done jack shit in the era Shula was in. Also, Brady would have never made it in the 70's, 80's or 90's for that matter.

I'm going to start by stating Bill Walsh is the greatest coach of the modern era. He's an innovator and changed the way the game is played!! Just look at his coaching tree. His former coaches has gone on to win over a quarter of all Super Bowls since he's left coaching! Many more made it to the big game. My question to all the Belicheat supporters is, how come all his coaches that have worked under him have done jack shit in the NFL?? If he's such a fucking genius and master technician how come his ex assistants have done diddly squat on their own? They all must have some form of amnesia when they leave Gillette Stadium.

What type of argument is this?
Because someone sucks at being a head coach, the person they once worked for must not have been good.

Not just "someone" but everyone! If his playing calling, and coaching is so superior surely one of his assistants would copy the "blueprint" The problem is the "blueprint" for success is cheating and penalty imbalance during close playoff games!

His assistants seem to have an affinity for taking awful jobs, I'm sure that plays a role.

Agree, Walsh is a more innovative coach than Belichick as far as his contribution to the game but he also came along when there was more low hanging fruit on the tree. Teams threw the ball way less before the '78 rule changes so of course there was room for massive exploitation of strategy in the 80's.

I don't really care who deserves to be called the best coach ever as it is way too subjective but there is a reason no one has really come along in the last 20-25 years with a sustainable offensive strategy that everyone has copied, because there isn't one to create. Everything works until the fast adapting organism of the NFL says it doesn't. Or you don't have the talent anymore to execute.

Learn a little bit of SpyGate.
Learn a little bit about discipline.

You'll have the answers.

That picture of the baby crying everyone posts about you are so accurate its funny.

Belichick has more rings than all of them combined

Your blind hatred makes you post reaaaaally stupid things.

Clue for you: That "cheating and penalty imbalance" line makes you look really stupid.
