Doug- For $50-100/month HOA on a house, you get some minor neighborhood maintenance, walking paths, and possibly a community pool.. Also parks and recreation in some places.. Pretty much a waste of $$, but the HOAs do have alot of power and keep the neighborhoods (at least where I live) very clean..

I talked with Bigbee for about 36 minutes today, he seems cool to me. I'll look him up when I get back "Home". Seller pays the realtor, so as a buyer he costs me zero.

^^Sorry dont know the lingo was only down their for 3 years and it was a vacation house..had to get rid as i own a landscaping bussiness hear in ct and just could not get down their enough. As for the spelling i never was never any good at that..sorry!! As i am only highscholl grad. I am 30 years old happly married and expecting a baby Jan23. Was lucky to have a father that started a good company and took it over and have done very well for myself. So dont understand why i would lie about living in cape coral..maybe Miami. Anyway good luck in life

LOL, yeah, I might have been a bit hard on you ... just that for a guy that just sold property there, you didn`t seem to know a whole lot about it.

And you do make a good point ... not many people are going to lie about living in Cape Coral ... it`s not the most exciting place in the world ... it didn`t get the nickname Cape Coma because of the booming nightlife and sandy beaches.
