Oregon Ducks: Bralon Addison... torn ACL 4 months ago.
Although they are talking about a potential return, it is likely that Addison will not be playing for a while and definitely will take him a while to get back in to top form.
So the Ducks lose their top two receivers (Huff as a senior) and Addison who had over 800 yards. They also lost their most dynamic player to the draft in Thomas and their star left tackle to injury.
That's a lot of pieces to lose, but Oregon is known for a factory of speed. Going to be interesting to see who fills these roles. They still have Mariotta and Marshall so regardless they are going to be competitive, but I would guess they will lose couple games this year.

CLEVELAND (AP) — Kent State says one of its football players has died and that police believe he passed away from an undetermined medical issue.The school said in a release that starting center Jason Bitsko was found unresponsive in the bedroom of his off-campus apartment shortly before 9 a.m.The 21-year-old Bitsko was in his fourth year with the Golden Flashes. He started all 12 games in 2013.
West Virginia cornerback Ishmael Banks has been suspended three games by the NCAA for an unspecified academic eligibility issue.
Coach Dana Holgorsen announced the suspension Monday but did not provide details regarding the academic issue.
Holgorsen said on the Big 12 coaches' call that the team is happy that Banks' issue was resolved.
Banks will be eligible to play starting with the Mountaineers' home opener on Sept. 20 against No. 4 Oklahoma. The senior will miss Saturday's season opener against Alabama in Atlanta, the Sept. 6 home opener against FCS Towson, and a Sept. 13 road game at Maryland.

SoCal CB Josh Shaw out indefinitely after jumping out of an apartment window to save his drowning nephew. Nephew is ok, but Shaw sprained both ankles when he landed on the concrete by the pool.
