Hey AK, out of curiosity, is it dark right now in Anchorage? I know you guys get little sunlight during winter and the solstice wasn't that long ago making the days about as short as they come. Just curious.

Getting lighter. Not dark right now, but the sun still hasn't risen. Can see the glow over the mountains though.

how can they rule that a catch. Just because they ruled forward progress was stopped on the field doesn't mean it was the right call. That didn't look like a catch
He had the ball for like 5 steps, how would it not be a catch??

I saw him leave, but have they definitely ruled him out for the game?

These days, I would venture to say he is done. Doctors don't mess around with head injuries and it was obvious he had his bell rung. But that's just a guess.

If that wasn't a catch then the Bernard fumble would aslso have not been a catch

That's crazy, I will not ever bitch about it getting dark early again. I've seen some climbing videos where the guys are making summits and it looks like dawn but its 4 in the morning.

if sideline catch rule is same as endzone catch rule, then it is not a catch. no debate at all. they even showed you the calvin johnson no catch in endzone as example

Because they ruled the players forward momentum stopped which means the clock was still running

Yes but they reviewed it, so wouldnt it be 14 with the cloxk running from there? (sorry for typos. On cell phone)

Then shouldn't they put 12 seconds back on? Then start the clock?

I'm not Mike Periera here, but from what I understand is, if the refs get the buzz to replay the previous play, the clock stops, which it did at 2 seconds. So since the play was not reversed, the clock remains at 2 seconds.

phillip has one incompletion, and it stopped a drive on third and short wide open dropped the ball
another drive stopped when he ran on 3rd and came up 6 inches short
since hardwick went out they done zero

That makes sense then

Yea, every winter I hate it, every summer I love it, lol. It's awesome in the summer when it's 2 in the morning and still light enough to catch a football.
