Phase One) President exercises his wartime powers as CIC and prepares a continuity of govt plan in the event of a stolen election
Phase Two) Stolen election occurs - continuity of govt plan activated
Phase Three) Stolen election is resolved, previous govt in exile is reinstated
We'll call Phase 2 a holding pattern - where we are now.

Simply walking away and letting this coup stand (reminder: they overthrew a duly elected govt) would be dereliction of duty as CIC.
