Well to start . With one you have a special prosecutor investigating the origins of the Russia hoax , and the other an unselect group of lawmakers holding hearing to salvage their midterm hopes .

And second , it just exposes the mainstream media political agenda by their coverage of each event .

Tell me again how much coverage the Durham investigation is getting compared to the 1/6 hearings .

I will try to answer this with my OPINION only.

1) First of all imo it is only an opinion that the 2022 midterm election is the only motivation behind the January 6th Investigation

Lots of folks including myself feel there was wrongdoing during the January 6th incident and would be/should be irrespective if there

is an Election going on in 2022.

Also, you may believe that the group investigating January 6th, but for me what counts is what they find during their investigation

and whether it can be proven or not.

Whether one is a member of the Investigative Committee, anyone in Congress or anyone else including Trump's legal team has the right

to challenge the findings.

And to be honest, I can't dispute what you say about the coverage of the Durham investigation other than to say once again that one event

involves six years and the other one, and like it or not, the media plays to what they believe the public wants to hear, which in their

media involves Trump rather than Hillary, because Trump is a more polarizing person.

I am not saying that is right but rather that in our capitalist society, it is all about money, sponsors, etc.

That is my honest opinion!!

You left out the part that the mainstream media ( and especially big tech ) are overwhelmingly Dems and Dem donors and use their power to get their desired results .

If you want to use that argument, then in turn you say the same thing about the recent appointees to the SCOTUS by both Trump

and Biden, namely that they are biased, etc.

I am quite sure that both of us can think of lots of things in our own personal lives that have occurred that are unfair in our judgment

such as people being passed over for promotions and instead the job being given to folks who have no qualifications whatsoever

and who came out of nowhere to get the job.

Even though OJ served plenty of time in prison the civil court for his murder of Nicole, how could he have been acquitted

of the criminal charges by any jury with the modicum of evidence against him!!!

I won't try to defend the Hunter Laptop relative zero coverage you cited, other than to say that imo, my belief

that whatever goes around comes around and that he as well as Joe will get their just due somehow if they are both

guilty.

The only advice I can give is that if you say think the NY Times ie being unfair is to write a letter to them.

You might even get it published.

You also have the choice of just not reading what they have to say and reading the sources of media of your own liking.

Of course you can just state your feelings as you have been doing here and hopes that it resonates with other who read

it.

For me a lot of what goes on politically can be just plain reduced to "show biz" and worry more about things which directly concern

my daily existence like Ukraine!!

I am sure there are folks who both agree and disagree with me with this but this is how I look at everything at the moment:

To be blunt and all things considered, for me what is going on now with the invasion of Ukraine and ending it immediately dwarfs anything

else in importance, which includes January 6th and Trump's involvement in it, mandating covid masks and vaccines. the high price of gas,

inflation and everything else.

I say that basically for two reasons:

1) Thousands of people have already died because of the invasion and countless thousands more will also die including innocent

civilians and children if this is not stopped.

2) There is still the possibility of escalation to nuclear weapons either by the US direct confrontation with Russia and/or simply

by error or misjudgment/misunderstanding as interpreted by one side or the other!!

The other stuff can wait-the world needs to get control of the situation in Ukraine now!!
