ot While I am quite elated at the stock market hitting all-time highs(as opposed to Lenny who must be seething now as stuff like
this is not supposed to happen under Biden but only Trump), I am also a bit worried that the market might be getting ahead of itself so
to speak, and that people might be buying in panic in order not to be left out.
What this could mean is that if during the upcoming days, weeks and months, there is any kind of unexpected
bad news re: inflation/cpi/ppi interest rates, jobs data, consumer expectations, etc. it could set the market up for a nasty fall!!
I am not predicting this but rather am just stating a possible dose of reality into this!!

Only one-third of U.S. adults say they approve of President Biden’s job performance — a record low for his presidency and for any president in the last 15 years.
In an ABC News/Ipsos poll, conducted Jan. 4-8, only 33 percent of those surveyed said they approved of Biden, a drop from the previous poll in September 2023, when 37 percent approved of his performance. Biden’s disapproval rating is 58 percent, up from 56 percent in September.

One of the things that provincial and narrow-minded and one-dimensional people like Lenny Lenbo don't consider and/or don't
have the necessary brain power to consider that whether it be the stock market, inflation, interest rates, jobs data, other
economic variables and for that matter just about everything that goes on in life whether it is good or bad cannot be attributed
exclusively to one person, which in Lenny's case means Trump or Biden!!
It is one thing to drop a glass filled with water on the floor and see it shatter into many pieces and attribute this to not being
careful.
It is something entirely different to take happenings in the country and/or world and to try to attribute them to one cause
or person for the simple reason that everything that occurs is so complex and occurs because of lots of related factors
that are in turn caused by other related factors!!
In short, life itself cannot be compared to a cookbook and a recipe where known ingredients put together will result in a wonderful
dinner, dessert, etc as folks like Lenny would have you believe!!
As I see it and although it is obviously theoretical, one must try to subjectively gauge the varying factors and their relative
importance first in lots of matters in life before arriving at one kind of decision/opinion as opposed to just one factor and/or
just rattling off an impulsive gut feeling snap answer.

Big city Democratic mayors are angrily demanding more engagement from the Democratic president to help deal with a wave of migrants seeking asylum. One of them – New York Mayor Eric Adams – is in Latin America this week.
If Trump wins tomorrow, he will have to find something else than the Trump polls showing he is going to get the nomination!!I wonder if he'll respond with a tweet or a poll?
Perhaps just perhaps he should consider something that is not a poll but something that reduces his Trump polling data

Biden is playing a sly political game, trying to blame Republicans for the border chaos he created.
But it doesn’t take money or bipartisan amnesty deals to halt the border invasion.
It takes an executive order reinstating Trump’s border protections that Biden dismantled on day one.
That’s why millions of illegal migrants are flooding into the country. He invited them in.
He spelled out his plans during the 2020 election campaign: “What I would do as president is … immediately surge to the border all those people who are seeking asylum.”
Well, that was one promise he kept, with disastrous consequences.
