Following up on what I said in my previous post, all of us have suffered disappointments in our personal lives and/or believed
we were cheated including myself when I was initially passed over for a promotion in my profession that was given
to someone else when imo I was more qualified based on experience, years of service, education, etc.
At the time the woman who got the job we were and still are good friends!!
The bottom line is that my disappointment made me work even harder and several months later there was
anoher opening for the same job, and I applied for it and got it!!
Even if I didn't get the job, and for that matter never got it, I have too much pride and dignity to be dwelling on it years later
as some of the folks in here do with Trump's defeat in 2020!!
