were vaccinated for Covid and 2) draw conclusions for the population as a whole for folks who were vaccinated.

in order to draw conclusions!!

I obviously cannot teach you what statistics are all about in one post, but suffice it to say that the basics/terms you need to understand

before making yourself look like the clueless person you are when it comes to stuff include but are not limited to

sample size, the population from which the sample is derived, reliability and validity!!

I am not sure exactly what you are talking about here about refuting the story.

The bottom line for me is that Trump has in fact said what he has been quoted as saying based on my own ears to hear.
