It entirely different from you as a parent gambling around your kids, as opposed to your teacher. If anyone else had a 16 year old daughter, I would worry what else this loser is up to if he is doing it in class. Like someone said go to the bathroom, i'd be pissed if a teacher did that in front of my kids in the middle of class.

Definitely do not run to the school admin to complain. If you really are concerned, to talk to the guy directly to get the straight scoop. Maybe your daughter misunderstood. Maybe who knows what. But you gotta talk to the guy directly first before you start a mess. If he acts like an ass then maybe. But get his side first. If nothing else, him knowing that you got soemthing on him could help your daughter. And if he somehow retaliates against her then you got ammo.

Did I ever post the Story about the Dumb Fuck who's Daughter had a problem at School? Apparently Her Teacher actually had a real life outside trying to teach dopes complicated subjects like English, jobs can get boring but as long as some Dumb fuck Parent didnt put their oar in, everythings Cosher. However, there's always one Dumb Fuck Father how hasnt a clue and proceedes to call out the Teacher for their incompetance. Of course the other side of the coin is, The Kid is a waster and tries to make the Teacher out to be a Dope. And of course the reason the Kid tries it on is because the Father's a Dope, why is He a Dope? probably because he spends too much time on here instead of listening to his Daughter.

I would let her a little in to what it takes to be a successful gambler/trader/poker player. I would explain her what I do this professionally and that it takes talent and effort. I would make her understand that she is not ready to do this professionally and also what would it take her to do if she wants. I would make it clear to her what the teacher is a recreational gambler and that recreational gambling is not a very good hobby, same as alcohol and drugs. Well, I do drink :grandmais , but I drink responsively! :toast:

If you believe that gambling is acceptable behaviour then you shouldn't have any problem with it being done in the presence of minors. If you're worried about your daughter turning into a gambler the best way to prevent that is to set an example by your actions not words; if you preach no gambling but continue to do it then it isn't going to matter what the teacher does.
