I'm shocked at the turnout for the RX's NFL Contest

we might think about that for NEXT Year .... The idea of this contest was to Mirror the SuperContest, especially for those that just don't get out to Las Vegas, or don't want to spend $1500 to enter a Contest.

not sure why they're not making that adjustment at the Westgate....you would actually have to cap the games

I will also add that Every Year we get a late rush in the last week .... Some don't want to give up their Hard Earned Cash until the last minute ...

Having the deadline at 12:59 is nuts, there's a reason the plays have to be in the day before in most contests in Vegas......JOH needs time to do all the work within the contest.

im not disagreeing with your statement nor am i asking them to change the deadline. I acknowledged how much effort JOH puts into the contest. But I am just giving my reason, sunday morning is when i pick NFL, i would guess thats when a lot of average joes that were looking to attract do.

Yeah that's not the Contest way ... at least not for this type of contest. But I do understand your thinking...

There's usually one game that stands out to me at the beginning of the week and if I feel the line will move, I lock it in.
But my main wagers are game day ..

We should change the contest...i keep saying it. stop trying to copy the hilton/westgate. Make ours better.

My suggestion has always been to have one 'best bet' every week worth 2 pts (or 1 on a push).


There are other things that can or don't have to be done. Later deadlines. Earlier deadlines. Dynamic lines. Closing lines. Stale lines. etc. We should be creative, make a better product, and maybe supercontest will take a page out of our book
