Keep that in mind - I actually do have a pretty thick skin, but it's not thick enough for the comment Jimbo dropped last night. The only point is that (and I appreciate your time spent in replying, Patrick) no one should have a free pass when they cross the line - if you don't think he crossed the line with what he said, I'll be surprised, but that's the only issue at stake for me. Personally, I've found a few of his posts funny but it doesn't matter if I did or not - that isn't the point. The point is, when BTJ is doing his normal goofing and spoofing, why on earth would I care? And I haven't in the past, either, except getting on him in a few recent posts for dragging the Lenny shit around like a humpback - gets really old the 114th time you read the same shit.
But the central rule, or so I thought, was that you attack the posts, not the poster, and his attack on clevfan through her son finally got to me, especially when it became apparent nothing would be done about it. Ban him? No, but warn him that the next time he posts crap like that he will be banned for a week, during which time I'm sure BTJ will scoot off to another forum and be quite comfortable there. He comes back, does it again, ban him for another week. It'll get REALLY old for him, since he does seem to like the attention (nothing wrong in that, all of us do to some degree), and maybe he'll drop that level of attack.
Point is, no one should get a free pass here with those kind of comments, IMHO. If this is not true, then fine, the next time BTJ posts something else like that, I get a free pass to post what I'd like in response.
Fair's fair

Jazz - again to me I agree with you but the issue is not what happens when someone "crosses a line", but what is the line and where is it? I can tell you it is not the same for everyone. Fair to you is unfair to many others. LOL, just the way it is.
Thanks for the feedback on it though, looks like he may have moved on for a while anyway. Not that it's a long term solution but I guess that is where it is right now.
