Dude if you quit it will hurt them more than you. Those places are not getting people beating their door down for help. They also have a huige turn over of people the guy next door used to be a manager and he said the average life span of an employee there was 4 months. Get out of there and work for a piazza joint you will make more money and have a little self respect in the end.

Dude - 1 thing is certain in this economy - every damn collection agency in the world is hiring.

You have experience in collections since you're out there calling folks.

Most collection agency jobs start around 10 but you should be able to talk you way into 12/hour if there are any sort of competition in your area.

toss in the bonus checks and most good collectors will make around $50k/year.
