If you are the spurs, how much of a rush are you in to fix this A/C for game 2

Bosh made a 3 and the Heat went up 7, then the cramps started. It obviously changed the momentum.

With Lebron on the floor the teams each scored 67 points
Without Lebron, the Heat were outscored 43-28.

The performance of Bosh & Wade in the last 3 minutes was pretty darn weak.

The top conditioned athlete of all time - the beast can't play in normal summer temps - yet near 40 year old Allen, Duncan, Diaw and Manu have no problems - every year there is something new with this guy - he's a great player but he aint on no Mt Rushman - maybe the NBA fantasy geek stat Rushmore

I don't know who said he is the top conditioned athlete of all-time. Jerry Rice is probably in better shape than James today.

For those that think he is on par with Magic, MJ and Bird. What is he truly great at? There isn't single skill you go, wow, this guy is unbeatable.

You dont think driving the lane or in transition or coast to coast he looks unstoppable?

He isnt the most skilled or talented guy in the NBA but the skills he has, along with his size make him a great player. When he retires, he will be considered one of the all time greats. Like it or not but it will happen

The elevation would be a problem for him on Rushmore. Don't know about the temperatures?

Bad news Spurs fans ... the team has announced they've fixed the air conditioning system at the AT&T Center ... which means LeBron James might actually play the whole game next time they face off in San Antonio.

After last night's debacle, temperatures on the court got up to 90 degrees ... and LeBron was carried off the court in pain after complaining of leg cramps.

But moments ago, the team said maintenance teams had identified and corrected the problem -- which means fresh, cold air will be blowing through the arena when the teams take the court for Game 2 in S.A. on Sunday.

ok...
#1 - neither of those guy could dribble or move like Lebron
#2 - no one said he is the greatest ever, but when he retires he will be up there with the all time greats, if you dont believe that then your just a hater
#3 - you said.....

In transition coast to coast - yes he looks unbeatable!

#4 so you have to be unbeatable to be considered great?

Being good at every aspect of the game and being able to play all positions, just like Magic? Yea that is pretty great in most people opinion

offense - passing, dribbling, scoring (not so much on shooting a jump shot or a 3, but average or better than average)
defense - guard 1-5 position
guards off the dribble, in the post, shot blocking
also rebounding + he is a team player

I am not saying he isn't going to be an all-time great or isn't already. I am just not ready to put him in the top 5.

Most, if not all, analyst admit he is a top 5, probably even top 3 greatest of all time. The majority of these analyst are former players, HOFers and/or coaches. They have been around the game and know a thing or two...more so than you or I. The guy is a phenom. He can dominate the game, not just impact, but DOMINATE the game from anywhere on the court and in any way, from scoring, to distributing, to defense. Those are three different aspects of the game, offense, defense, and dictating how the other team plays defense. On top of all of that, he is clutch and can carry the team himself. Jordan and co. all had the luxury of learning from some great college minds. James was thrown into the fire. He already has multiple rings and MVP's. He has accomplished all of this coming straight out of HS. Pure, natural, innate talent you cannot teach. With the amount of parity in sports due to education, health, and technology it's that much harder for athletes to dominate, but LeBron is the exception. Is it because he is just good? No, there are a lot of players are who are good, but he is great. And if it was just because he was "good" you would see a lot more LeBron's. Instead you see a lot of Scottie Pippen's, Clyde Drexler's, Charles Barkley's, etc. All really good players, but not GREAT.

Everyone hates Lebron for one reason or another. Most of which reasons are unjustified. They justify their "hate" with all kinds of silliness. "Well I don't like how he left Cleveland." Great, are you a Cleveland fan? "No!" Well why do you really care then? Oh, because he is great and you don't like that he is on your team, so you have to justify a reason for your disdain. The only people who truly have a reason to truly dislike him are the Cleveland fans and even then it's a bit far stretched IMO. This guy made a personal decision to benefit himself and his family, but people don't like it because of their selfishness and want him to remain in Cleveland to serve their entertainment purposes. It may not be right and i may not agree with it, BUT I GET IT. The guy isn't dirty or doesn't blow in people's ear like some players. And everyone to some extent talks trash or throws an elbow or two here and there. That is the nature of the game. With his attacking style and how powerful he is, he is usually on the wrong end on a lot of those, so i don't buy the whole "he is a dirty player card" either. Some reactions are warranted IMO and some aren't, just the nature of the game.

I grew up a Piston's fan in the days of Isiah Thomas, Bill Lambier, Vinny the Oven, etc. I hated Jordan, but that was because he was my rival at the time. Plus he was good. I remember everyone else loving him. He made my blood boil at times lol, but I would never say he is not in the top 5, just because I don't like him. LeBron is a game changer just like Jordan was, if not bigger. Im not trying to attack you or anyone else. You are entitled to your own opinion and I don't really care to change it for that matter. But, to say he is not top 5 is pure ignorance IMO.

I admit I hated Lebron for a long time...i always rooted for the cavs to lose even when they looked like they might win a championship or two. I was kind of happy when the heat lost their first bid and was a little let down when they won one, and to be honest i'm rooting for the spurs this time around.

but I can't deny he is a freak of nature beast who is probably the best ever. I want to say his shot isn't good enough and his clutch isn't good enough but he puts up decent FG% and compared to others his clutch isn't that far off. I'm just a hater.

with that said, if he goes back to the cavs, I will root for them to win.....i would love his story to end with him giving a championship to his home
