If you are the spurs, how much of a rush are you in to fix this A/C for game 2

Does the NBA not have the capability of providing fluids in the locker room? Didn't watch the game, but it seems unless this went down with a few minutes left they would have tried that route.

Bullshit. I know what its like to play through cramps as I've done it multiple times during long tennis matches. You see guys do it in 5 set matches all the time.

I was once cramping so bad just after a match, my wife had to call an ambulance as I needed an IV. I had sweated out all my potassum and electrolites. I made the mistake of drinking plenty but not eating anything before or during the match.
Huge bitch move on LeBron part.. he could of drank some Fukn Gatorade and played the fkn 2guard. He would of only had to WALK 20 feet and shoot 3s.

I find it hard to believe that the temperature in the AT&T Center was what was causing the cramps, I play basketball all summer long in Texas at lunchtime, and we've played when it was 112 degrees out. In the summer if it's 90 degrees we're happy, because most of the time it's between 95 and 105.

Huge huge difference being 100 degrees outside and 90+ inside...

I've played in small gym with no ventilation, and you die quickly... 90+ in that environment is almost incomprehensible

Somebody is going to mention it, might as well be me... lol.

So, if Michael Jordan was cramping in the NBA finals, do you think he'd play through it, or would he sit the 4th quarter and watch the game slip away, like LeBron?

no way he does. A cramp that bad your leg doesnt move. at all.

Magic's tweet from last night:

The Spurs & Heat fans thought that was hot, '84 we played 4 games, '85, 3 games & '87 , 3 games in the Boston Garden with those same temps!

I disagree. Playing in 110 degrees in July in Texas with no breeze is a "huge big difference" to 90+ inside? No way.

Answer is..... even on crutches Michael would have gotten the job done. Bronnie is a front-runner. Easy enough to see. He shrinks away from big moments.

Kids back in the day had a harmless name calling deal...... PENUS WRINKLE! Never knew for sure how that name was best used. Now I know. Means a useless prick when really called on for duty!

Look at the line up recently chosen for All NBA. A joke compared to past eras. LeBron is playing in a very down era for NBA basketball. Not hating.... just pointing out the obvious. The media and many of the fans feel they have to have someone to worship. He is a physical beast but not the all-time great people want to make him out to be. The media does this in different sports just to boost the interest (and because they are stupid!)

Probably the most pampered athlete of all time for sure.

So was Tiger till he showed his ass and almost got his hair parted with a seven iron!

Believe it was closer to if not over 100 in the garden in 84 series...

amazing thing about Lebron is that he needs so many conditions for him to be ok to win.. Needs the AC to work, right coach, right teammates, right system, right officials... Gimme a break!!

Amen Deuce22!

And people still want to place him as a top 5 GOAT. What a joke. Let him go ahead a try to accomplish LOTS more in this patty cake, cream puff, bullshit they call the NBA now.

Yea, I'll take outside air over stale air inside any day. Your lungs will agree as well....

The top conditioned athlete of all time - the beast can't play in normal summer temps - yet near 40 year old Allen, Duncan, Diaw and Manu have no problems - every year there is something new with this guy - he's a great player but he aint on no Mt Rushman - maybe the NBA fantasy geek stat Rushmore
