If the Bills the playoffs, are they the most overrated team of all-time?

The Dolphins are a great team but Tua holds them back. Said that before the season started.
Reading dolphins boards sometimes reminds me of reading some of these forums on this website.

You have Tua lovers and Tua haters.

My opinion is that I like Tua but scared to pay him the BIG MONEY as if you do, then you have to take some of his toys away.

Rookie contract Tua is fine
5th year option 23 million Tua is fine
40 mil + a year Tua right now is NOT fine with me

I thought Allen played well yesterday (MAJOR threat with his legs). Keep in mind that KC has a pretty strong defense
Allen does not, cannot and will not play that way in the regular season or he'll end up next to Burrow - in a hospital bed out for the year. Tough as nails (played through a bum shoulder the entire season) but not stupid.

Find him a competent coach with a defense that can stop a drive here and there with players up and down the roster that do the little things right when it matters, like kicking FGs in the clutch (who remembers Pats fans ever sweating with Vinateri and Goskowski?).

Win or lose yesterday, that is NOT setting up your QB for success - every game, every drive, every down...leaving so little room for error. Yes, even if the Bills had WON the game, it's a formula for FAILURE.

Mahomes vs Allen in the playoffs, almost identical in every stat. Except Super Bowls, aka Andy Reid. He's the difference.

Big Ben was big, tough, durable, won two Super Bowls and played 18 seasons in the NFL. Allen is better than Big Ben.

Call the GOAT. When people look back 10 years from now in hindsight, it will be one of the most obvious and easiest moves EVER in sports.

Stop looking at just stats and grade the player.
You just cited the Pro Bowl stat to defend the Bills

I graded the players yesterday

Mahomes was the best player on the field last night, pretty obvious

When he didn't have Hill, he was awful. Tua needs a loaded team because he is accurate. Without the toys, he's bad.

Name the plays Mahomes made that other QBs don't make. Hit a wide open Kelce for a TD and then throw a behind LOS TD should be made. Then name the plays that Allen made that other QBs don't make. Mahomes did his job. Allen carried the team.

Mahomes can't make plays that Allen makes because of the running difference. 4th and 1, Mahomes isn't going to sneak. Mahomes doesn't break tackles running up the middle.

The easiest way to do it is grade the running game for Mahomes and grade the running game for Allen. Then go to passing.

He didnt have Hill vs the Jets

We went 21-30 with a TD in a 34-13 win and he looked fine.

If Hill doesnt play in that game, Tua would be fine as he knows the gameplan.

If Hill goes out during the game, then Tua gets shaken as it strays from the gameplan.

Tua's biggest problem (to me) is that he doesnt improvise and is TOO locked in on his first receiver

Allen was the best player in the league in 2021 and 2022 average value by Pro Football Reference. And he's been higher than Mahomes the last 3 years.

Correct. Allen is the better QB. Allen makes plays no other QB can make: the NFL's MVP.

Yet, Allen has never actually WON an MVP, which tells you how out of touch these analysts/media members are. (Tua and Dak going to the Pro-Bowl LOL)

This is Brady vs Manning 2.0 all over again.

Brady had Belichick.

Mahomes has Reid.

MVP? Allen threw a pick in 11 straight games.(unheard of in today's NFL)

He is a turnover machine.(by today's standards)

You sure the coach makes the qb or the qb makes the coach?

I don't remember Reid winning any super bowls in Philly.

Or belchick winning any super bowls in Cleveland or in NE(post brady) Had a losing record in Cleveland and a losing record 4 years in NE post Brady.

I'm not even saying Allen played poorly yesterday. I thought he was good overall

But Mahomes was better than him

Can both not be true?

People are so defensive about Allen

"If we just ignore all the bad plays he makes, he's really amazing!"

That was his first 2 seasons in the league under Brian Flores who had NO confidence in Tua

Waddle (rookie) was his leading receiver

Gelsicki was number 2 and Devonte Parker was number 3

Durham Smythe was their 4th best receiver at 357 yards

So 2 of their best 4 receivers were tight ends. Smythe is more of a blocking tight end.

Ask patriots fans what they think about Gelsicki and Parker.

Josh Allen's salary cap number was 18.6 million this year

His number will be 47.1 million next year

Lets see which "toys" will be taken from him

Interceptions through first 6 full seasons in the NFL:

Tom Brady: 78 "THE GOAT"

Josh Allen: 78 "Turnover Machine (by today's standards)"

I just love these FAKE Realities/narratives you proudly create and how you cling to them like a nerd in high school to his fugly girlfriend.

Outstanding!

Please keep it up!
