If A. Rodgers protested the National Anthem and GB cut him, would he have an NFL QB job?

I don't think he is a good fit for a lot of teams... He likes to run, not a lot of teams will change their offense to fit a 2nd stringer.

When the drama in your life outweighs your talent it's hard to find a job in any business.

THE REAL ANSWER is this...

If Aaron R. Sat during the anthem, put forth his proclimation.. (the flag is 100% horrible) then was Proven a Hippocrite by not voting, and Never put forth a godam drop of effort to make positive changes... and still complained... more hypocrisy, then 8 months later on the Highest Holiest of national days.. reiterate how disgusting the flag is yet do nothing...

I can pretty much fkn guarantee his life would be MISERABLE... see... we kindof expect that kindof sht from kap... he's a racist agitator with no agenda for resolve..

Let's not forget Kap QUIT... he could of stayed another year... that coward Quit, thinking maybe his gross ways might get him a starting spot at NO, or ATL, or SEA?

Seems like most whites don't believe the situation is racially motivated. A lot of black talking heads do.

My point is, anyone who disagrees with you is likely calling racism. You started this thread to refute that stance. So using Aaron Rodgers in your hypothetical doesn't really disprove their point as you are intending.

The questions you should be seeking to answer are:

If a similarly-talented white player (eg Ryan Fitzpatrick) did the same, would the backlash be the same?
If a better than average black player (eg Antonio Brown) did the same, would he be able to overcome the backlash and keep a job?

I think the answer to both these questions is yes. THAT refutes the racism claim.

For someone who loves to argue you're not very good at it.

Don't agree at all. My point is talent outweighs everything in the NFL and if you can lead a team to winning the Lombardi Trophy, you can be gay, 400 pounds, Republican, Democrat, Muslim, a Monk...it doesn't matter to anyone.

Dude. I agree.

We're saying the exact same thing.

You're just going into Enfuego Argue Mode

Not arguing with anyone.

Now you are arguing about whether or not you were arguing. Standard Enfuego tactic.

You said this:

When you quote someone's point of view, and then say "I don't agree at all", and then proceed to explain why not...you are FUCKING ARGUING.

Why have a forum if the posting body agrees on everything? I thought we were just discussing a topic of mutual interest? So you and I disagree, do I think you're arguing with me? No, I think we're discussing a topic of mutual interest and we just disagree which there's no problem with IMO. It's called debate.

What good is this board if we all agree all the time?

To me, arguing is disagreeing on a given topic and yelling at each other. I don't see that happening with you.

We don't disagree. Hahaha. That's what's so crazy.

I'm done here, GL.

You can say that about every single person in the world though. If I played like Rodgers I would have a job in the NFL too. If you played like Rodgers you would be in the NFL too... Okay.... so what?

It's not about if he is as good as Rodgers. Is he good enough to play in the league is the question? And obviously that answer is yes.

If this was about business and doing the right thing.....then why the fuck did Greg Hardy get signed? And probably a ton others.

I bring up Greg Hardy because I was at his Miami crib the day before he was in North Carolina throwing that girl on a bed of assualt rifles.

That nigga threw a girl onto a rack of guns. Dante Stallworth was driving drunk and killed a man.

And Colin Kaeperknick took a stand at work so he can't get back in the league.

I rarely do this but if he was white and kneeling for black injustice, the public would find a way to admire and praise him. But the fact he is half black he gets killed.

I am white but I look at it from all angles. I know WHY he isn't in the league. But it isn't right. I know that. There's clearly a double standard. And I would be the first to call out bullshit if there wasn't.

I stayed back on ALL of the collin Kaeperknick topics on this forum until now. First time I've spoke on it.

Because Greg Hardy was one of the best pass rushers in the league. He has a talent that exceeded the problems he brought to the team.

Top 10 pass rusher. Kaep is not a top 30 QB.

100% wrong. If Wilson or Newton knelt during he anthem, they'd be signed right now. They are that talented.

People would kill Rodgers for doing it too but he'd be signed because he's good.
