Iceman's OVERS for Thursday, May 7

YTD: 53-31-6, +9.66 units

2-2-1 yesterday, but should have been a 3-2 winning day if it wasn't for the Royals and Mariners leaving over 30 on base. Anyways, just got to move on. Nothing was strong enough this afternoon for a play. On to tonight, one I like for the 7:00 p.m. timeslot:

Phillies/Mets over 10 (-103, risking 1.03 units to win 1)

Ice, just curious why you think the Red Sox/Indians is a good Over for tonight. Wakefield was virtually unhittable last time out against the Indians (April 27).

Ice, just curious why you think the Red Sox/Indians is a good Over for tonight. Wakefield was virtually unhittable last time out against the Indians (April 27).

1. Jeremy Sowers is pitching for the Indians, had a 5.95 ERA last year, so Sox should be able to hit him around a bit.

2. Line opened at 10, jumped to 10.5

3. Wakefield can be great one day, awful the next. Remember, even when he had his no-no going into the 8th inning against the A's earlier this season, he fell apart after it went and that game went over.

4. Gut feeling.
