I apologize for saying I could fly to Las Vegas, I just can't fly period...I tried to talk myself into it....went as far buying my ticket and reserving my room, I just can't fly.

I looked into other alternatives but nothing from Maryland is feasable, everything else would take several days.

I hope everyone has a great time and wins some money ... I hope to meet some of you guys at a local party or event where I can just drive myself....perhaps Atlantic City or Ocean City sometime this fall.

I wish I had a better reason other than I am scared to fly in a plane but I don't.

No need to apologize. You tried your best to make the flight even through your fear. The fear of flying is not uncommon. Just look at John Madden. Be true to yourself. One of the things to live by is "If it doesn't feel right, don't do it". Always listen to your inner voice.

This is a joke. We have many greater fears in life than flying. My ex has probably flown 500 flights in the last several years. I could only hope something would happen but she is the mother of my 2 boys. Personally I have flown throughout this world many times and never had MUCH fear. There have been a few intense moments but I am still sitting here typing this stupid statement.

Throw caution to the wind. Why would you become a pilot if you thought of such fathom. Very rarely happens. You cannot be a gambler if you do not fly.
