You're another moron who talked shit in 2012 and was left with cum on your chin and a goof look on your face. Why don't you give us YOUR reason why gas prices are low, Scumbag?

Yeah, I was way off when I predicted I didn't know who would win the election. Some major shit talking there.

Why is the price of oil going down? Probably because the supply is increasing. China's demand reportedly lower than it has been in recent years...maybe their creative state-controlled bookkeeping is finally catching up to them and their economy isn't as robust as some die hard communists want to believe.

Although you wouldn't know about basic supply and demand. Your own Obamacare architect said you were too fucking stupid to understand basic economics. Remember? You...dimocraps. Too stupid and dense. One of the very few things this admin has gotten correct.

Gee, I never would have predicted your response. It's hilarious how if gas prices go up, Obama will get the blame without explanation, but when they go down, he doesn't get credit even with explanation. The gas boom went up in spite of him? Why don't you explain how that is, Genius? Whether you want to admit it or not, many illegal immigrants contribute to the country, and anybody who says that something that affects more than 5 million people is "trivial(as is the rescue of hostages from a hostile nation)," is, by definition, a fucking moron. Why don't you regal us all with your crackerjack predictions from 2012, Jagoff? It's gonna happen all over again, unlike in 2008 and 2012, I'm confident in making this prediction almost 2 years out: in both the Senate and White House, you're gonna take it up the ass again, and I'll be right here to rub your nose in it, AGAIN...

What, posting your reply once wasn’t enough?

Simply not true, Joe.

Very true.

Entitlements keep Democrats (and RINOs, let's not kid ourselves) in power.

We've Crossed The Tipping Point; Most Americans Now Receive Government Benefits

Obamacare has pushed us over the entitlements tipping point. In 2011 some 49.2 percent of U.S. households received benefits from one or more government programs—about 151 million out of an estimated 306.8 million Americans—according to U.S. Census Bureau data released last October.

First of all, your picture above says "welfare" not "entitlements" or "government benefits". Don't pull that crap. The other problem with your theory is that welfare recipients generally don't vote.

Semantics.

70% of total federal spending - both discretionary and non-discretionary - goes to programs included in the Index of Dependence on Government.

If someone is dependent on something, what the fuck do you call it?

Call it whatever you want, welfare, socialism, entitlements, Big Govt crack, nanny-statism, dependency programs...whatever floats your boat.

Hey Mantis,

Is the above chart good for:

a) Statist Democrats and RINOs

b) Constitutional conservatives/libertarians

The whole system went to complete shit after LBJ.

Republican approval is at a five-year high, Bloomberg Politics reports. GOP approval stands in stark contrast to President Barack Obama’s approval, which stands at 39 percent.
Bloomberg also found that just 24 percent think the country is on the right track.
Forty-five percent of Americans have a favorable opinion of Republicans, while 47 percent view the GOP unfavorably. Democrats have just a 41 percent approval rating, with 50 percent holding an unfavorable view of the party. “This was Democrats’ worst showing in more than five years,” according to Bloomberg.

Lol, Gas prices rose dramatically while George W. Bush was in the White House and the GOP controlled all three branches of government (after they complained that gas prices were too high under Clinton/Gore and promised to lower them) , dropped significantly during the Bush/Cheney recession, and are but eventually returned to the previous trend. I guess you forgot that in July 2008, the prices were at $4.25, huh?

This should help. The first is an article last week from US News & World Report explaining why prices are where they are...it does go back to the Bush era.

The second link explains what happened with gas prices in 2008.

You're missing the point. Welfare recipients are not the reason Democrats stay in office and those receiving government benefits aren't the reason Democrats stay in office. For example, the numbers you cite include about 50 million seniors who receive social security and medicare and if you look at recent election demographics it's easy to see that those 65+ are more likely to vote Republican than Democrat.

"Free stuff" delivered by Big Government is the Democrat brand.

Those two programs you mentioned, Social Security and Medicare, are products of the Democrat party, and may I add became entrenched using the same tactics of 'progressive' lies, deceit and legal maneuvering that we witnessed with Obamacare.

"Vote for us or those evil conservative Republicans will take away your xyz..." - is the Democrat motto.

How you can deny this is crazy.

And who was the President in July 2008, and had been, arguably, the worst President in history for 8 long years? You think you can undo 8 years of fuckups in 2 seconds? That idiot who ran against Obma crowed that he could get the unemployment down to 6%, but that he would need 4 years to do. It's down to less than that in less than 2, but, of course, you guys will ignore that and prattle on about the "real" unemployment rate.

You've got to be shitin me, Obummer is beating Jimmy Carter for the WORST EVER.

As a life long Democrat, I am sickened by the actions of this president. I voted for him in 2008 and it didn't take long to figure out that this guy was woefully unprepared to run the country.

The past 3 years have been brutal. The list of missteps are long but the most egregious ones to me are the IRS targeting groups and the lies and tactics used to pass the ACA. He has disgraced the office of the president and it will take a very long time for our country to recover. The Gruber tapes were the final straw, they let you know exactly how this administration feels about the electorate. His unwillingness to negotiate with R's has hurt both our economy and standing in the world.

There are a lot of moderate democrats out there like me that feel this way. Our problem going forward is who do we support? I can't wait for the day this man leaves office. History will not be kind to Obama and it shouldn't be

Dems don't have to worry about the General Election for decades. The problem is we will always have more degenerate states than educated states, so Congress will always be up for grabs.

^^^^^^^^^^

Case in Point

ROTFLMAO!!!!!

As both the video and the accompanying article in following link shows, Gruber wasn't wrong, just indiscreet. Amazing how Righties have the balls to blanch in indignation at Gruber's attitude, when they're the ones who backed Mr. Flip Flopping, 47%, not to mention, always complaining about the do nothing, hangers on. You got morons in this thread trying to give Bush credit for gas prices, lol, as all of the CIA stuff is showing, Bush and Cheney oughta be in jail...
