I think millions and millions of people have the Corona Virus in the United States

Didn’t we get sent millions and millions of tests though? Didn’t they just introduce the 15 min test kit?

Basically it’s that out of control that even with those resources we’re still not testing everyone who has come in direct contact?

When did i say anything about january or most of feb? What do you say to 330k+ infected when only .5% of the population has been tested. How many articles have you seen of people complaining about not being able to get tested or how little testing the united states is doing or how celebs are being shamed for using their influence to get access to testing. You just happen to think were getting everyone tested that has it is laughable

You made a false unproven statement that 15-20 Million Americans were infected with the Coronavirus. For this to be true, there had to have been massive uninterrupted infections starting in January. You cited the flu to support your statement yet data I posted shows that hardly anyone becomes infected in the first 2 months of the flu season. Data also proves that hardly anyone were infected with the Coronavirus as late as March 1 when only 65 were infected and just 1 dead. With the inplementing of quarantines, lockdowns and social distancing soon thereafter, the odds of 15-20 Million being infected is zero.

Your opinions don't trump scientific data.

Alot of the tests prior took around 7-10 days to come back. China started pumping out some fast tests and sent it to spain. But the tests proved to not work effectively. We are days behind on results, #s will shoot up and people will act like they just became infected recently when in reality alot of them have been sick for days or a week

First off this virus is suppose to be highly more contagious than the flu. #2 test results are 7-10 days behind often. #3 they have next to no testing. You are blind to the truth.

If i stick a rock in my front yard and say it keeps Lions away, it must be correct because there are no lions. We were not testing people, therefore there must not be any cases. You are an idiot

Fauci tends to agree with you, and even though he was a god to the cast of idiots previously, he doesn't seem to agree with them anymore.

https://www.managedhealthcareexecut...0000-covid-19-deaths-where-does-estimate-come

“Looking at what we are seeing now, I would say between 100,000 and 200,000 cases—but I don’t want to be held to that because—excuse me, deaths. We are going to be have millions of cases.”

The 2nd pub has the death rate at .66% (in Fauci's original range)

https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-3099(20)30243-7/fulltext

Based on that death rate and estimated deaths, 15 million to 30 million would contract the virus.

These people were sick a week ago, many of them still going on about their lives. Infecting people in hospital lines, mass transportation, loved ones

I don't think so. Take Arizona for instance.

Seems like every night the local news mentions the total amount of people tested vs how many test positive. And the positive tests seem to be at about 10% of all tested. If that's any indication then no more than 1 out of 10 of us have it. Now anyway.

AZ is probably on the low side of the numbers.

You can keep repeating your non-sense til you're blue in the face like Smurffette, but again your opinions don't mean squat when scientific data proves otherwise. Just admit you were wrong and stop this tomfoolery.

120k out of 300k people tested in new york have it. 40% of people tested. How many people are self medicating at home, unable to get tested, or showing no signs of being sick. Mango just thinks we have happened to test every person out there that has it

Yeah, tons have it but doesn't necessarily mean the end result is that it will be over sooner than later. We should peak soon but who knows how the virus mutates, 2nd wave effect, etc...Even peaking soon likely means another 6 weeks of shutdown.

Going to come down to how effective the social distancing is for the rest of the people who don't have it. As well as getting lucky with mass production of testing kits and a remedy or two.

Because there is alot of thought out there that you will be immune to the virus for a time period following your infection. If you have a large % of the population exposed to it, they will help limit the spread in a 2nd wave

Agree. But other numbers we are seeing in the country as a whole, it's really no more than 20% tested coming up positive. That of course taking out the outliers and hotspots. It's going to be higher there.

So I'll stand by the.. I doubt most of us have had it stance. For now.

you would think we would have more tests available soon -- since flu season is about over -- I am trying to say that the people that do get tested negative most likely have the flu and with flu season being about over, less people getting the flu, As governor cuomo said he believed there needed to be a mass rollout of rapid testing in order to achieve a “return to normalcy”.

I have not heard of one confirmed case where someone got re-infected - if it lingers all summer and acts up in the fall there might be 2 cases of re-infection - if you had corona confirmed by a test for antibodies - you have my permission to go ahead and lick all the door knobs you want
