2nd rd is for losers

look at history , many of them dont even make the team

1st rd = sec and USC
2nd rd = rest of Pac-10

ive never heard of the 34th pick being called "2nd overall in rd 2" thats funny shit

How hard it is to take what you say seriously after your first comment. I think the SEC picked it up again in R3 with 6 was it? What does that make them? Super-losers?

You would never make it as an NFL scout. If I was you I would stick to your chosen profession of teaching 3rd world football to Hatians. Now THAT is some funny shit.

simple enough, bragging about 2nd rd picks put the pac-10 in perspective as a 2nd tier conference.

seriously, no one said anything about the pac-10 and you run guns blazin saying "we had a bunch of 2nd rd picks!!!"

thats retarded and disgraceful

did your roommate go back to sleep? he got quiet...

Well now today I learned something. After the first 32 are picked, it's all shit. Nevermind where I could go with that idea. It would take weeks to debunk all that's wrong with that statement. Even my 4 dogs think you are nuts.

I'll answer you again when you say something that makes a little sense... or at least qualifies as coherent thought.

Boys, boys, boys. What is really the matter here is this is one of the worst drafts I have ever seen. Stafford #1 is a joke in and of itself and it just gets worse. Sure there are some guys in there that could stick and make a name but this years draft could have included, Tebow, McCoy, Bradford, etc. I like college football and I enjoy wagering on it. This draft will not make me a plug nickle next season but some of the players that stayed instead of going to the draft might make me a little here and there.
Here's to the ones who stayed!

Yeah you're right. Joe Montana was drafted in the third round. What a loser. And Tom Brady drafted in the 6th round, 198 guys picked before him. How dare he think he can play in the NFL. What? These losers didn't get the memo? Scouts know everything. Get real. 1st rounders are busts all the time.

THE FOLLOWING YEAR (2003) Auburn was not a "bottom tier" team in the SEC. They finished 5-3 and 8-5 overall. Plus, when USC went there to play them and shut them out, they played @Auburn. USC had no reputation at that time either. PC had only been there 2 years. Had USC not shut them out, and instead Auburn holding service on their home field and getting their revenge for the road loss @USC, they would have finished 9-4. Say whatever you want about Auburn in 2003, but nobody had shut them out for decades before that, not even any of SEC's "elite." Auburn also beat Tennessee and Alabama that season. Their 2 of their 3 conf. losses were vs LSU and UGA. The 3rd was to an 18th ranked (at the time) Mississippi team. I'd hardly call that a pummeling at the hands of the SEC. You would say that just so you could make a whimped out attempt at degrading USC, no other possible reason.

The following year ('04) Auburn went 13-0 with basically the same team that played in '03. I just shake my head in amazement when I see how some of you SEC fans are willing to throw anyone under the bus when it suits them, even one of their own... and in spite of that, you want credibility?

I realize that this discussion invokes a lot of thinking and that's something you are obviously not used to doing much of. Thankfully you are only 26 so you are probably just ignorant not stupid. Maybe the day will come when you realize that this is about winning money not touting your boys. You are horribly misinformed about the Pac-10. When you put your balls back in your pants and learn how to think with cold facts instead of cherry picked arguments, maybe there will be some hope for you.

8-5 overall is certainly NOT top tier. And yes I know this about making money, but weren't you the same guy who hung around these forums for 2-3 years without making a single bet? Don't know if it's true but somebody else called you out on that and you chose not to answer.

Do you and your roomate live in your beach house together or in your other mansion in LA?

The Southeastern Conference had 263 players on the 2007 National Football League opening day active rosters, which led all conferences. The Atlantic Coast Conference was second with 238 players, followed by the Big Ten with 234 players, Pac-10 with 183 players, Big 12 with 176 players and the Big East with 84 players.

Granted... this was 2 years ago, however quite a gap between the SEC and the rest. The Pac-10 is basically the bottom of the barrel.

No, none of it is true. That includes your restating how you first put it... you said that Auburn was a bottom tier team, not a "non-top tier" as you just tried to rephrase it. How ridiculous it is to talk to someone that won't even own up to his own words?

I've been posting here for 10 years and I have posted my plays from the very start and I bet what I post. I came here about 3 years after the Shrink started this site and I know most of his friends. I know about 1/2 of the bookmakers and owners of the sites that do business with theRx because I was one of 2 head moderators here in the early 90's and I got to know most of them at that time.

You might be less argumentative if I told you that last year I posted 64% winners. Every week my record was tracked as I made the selections. It's all in the record. I have never had a losing year here. My best year was in college hoops when I ran off 18 straight wins in a row... all on record. Why don't you just wise up. I know what I'm doing.

The reason why I post Pac-10 is for 2 reasons. First, I have lived out west all my life and I've been following WC football a lot longer than you've even lived. Second and most important, I do it because people here were virtually lost (at least as lost as you, even worse) about betting the Pac-10 and were constantly losing money on them. That was literally the worst complaint I was hearing about CFB from more posters than any other issue. That went on for years. It still goes on at other sites. People around the country just don't know the WC teams the way some of us know them. What's so unusual about that? I never claimed to be a CUSA expert and I hardly know diddly about the Sun-Belt. I set out to fix the problems people were having betting P-10 with a few others and we've been highly successful. Take it or leave it.

You are wasting your time touting the SEC. The bookmakers know where you are at and how many points they can steal from you due to your bias. Get real, stop echoing public opinion and quit touting the SEC and you will understand how that poison costs you and others money and you will begin to understand. You have much to learn.

Believe this... USC and the 9 dwarves is a fallacy. USC is simply being a dynasty at present, probably the most powerful one in CFB for about 5+ years. If you want to know a more accurate way to look at it, there are probably about 2 dwarves in the Pac-10, not 9 of them. But there has also been one super-giant among men. There is at least as much SEC-shit as there is Pac-shit, probably more (about 20% more for the 2 extra teams in the SEC compared to the Pac-10.) Urban Meyer, a coach from the west is the best thing that ever happened to Florida. There's a lot more of him still out west where he came from. You need to quit being such a homer and learn to be objective... at least acknowledge what you don't know so you can learn something and be successful at this game. Dissing others the way you do precludes you from learning 1/2 the truth out there. After all, you can't take anyone seriously that you think is a moron -- like CP :)

I am originally from LA but I have lived in Oregon for 20 years. My "roommate" (I assume you are referring to UoweDucks) lives in Seattle but he went to school at Oregon. He is also one of the most accurate and informed posters you will find on this entire site.

Take it or leave it. It's all true.

See what I mean? How can anyone logically say that the Pac-10 is the "bottom of the barrel" after they went undefeated vs mostly ranked teams in the last bowl season? Saying this kind of shit is why you have little or no credibility. Your attitude makes you completely wrong and puts everything else you say in doubt.

Did USC play Auburn when Brandon Cox was the QB? THAT is the AU team I am referring to. I believe they did, but I could be totally wrong.

When it comes to gambling I'm fine... I'll cut and paste my 5 dimes account. I'm up over 3.7 dimes this week alone!

When it comes to cfb, I own the SEC and ALWAYS make money in it, much like you do in the Pac-10. Don't worry about me, I'm fine as well. Thanks for the advice though.

Are you dumb? My point was TALENT that's it. My post with FACTS stated I'm right and you responding in the fashion you did makes you look very idiotic. Facts are facts man, you always talk facts. The SEC simply has way more TALENT than the Pac-10 and that was the point of the post but you are much too simple to even see black and white. Again, the SEC has WAY more NFL players than the Pac-10, do you get it now?

You wonder why people struggle in the Pac? Bc nobody cares enough follow it. I'm glad you help posters out with the Pac, that's great keep it up. I must add that I'm well aware of your accomplishments when capping the Pac and I even tailed you on a few plays in the past. No hard feelings, I just wonder how somebody can grow up thinking the Pac-10 is all that when their accomplishments add up to not much.

but in a 5 game sample of bowl games against the big east and big 10 they played good!

so thats a rebuttal to any fact.

either that or OOC scheduling...thats why the SEC puts so many in the NFL, cause they have easy OOC games

Oh ok, now it makes sense. With all those easy OOC games, forget about conference play as it has ZERO bearing on being a national player, you'd think those soft SEC players wouldn't last in the NFL. What gives??
