Yeah, expiriment proves nothing. All you have to do is hit the back button and you can see what was there and then post a new reply using that. The 40 was there according to Doug. He didn't think it was there and change it based on thinking he saw it. Cannot believe Chop is not handling it differently. Five dimes don't give a fuck who you are unless you are playing lots of obscure bets.

I think Doug's point was that he re-entered the thread before making the first quote and got the new changed amount, he remembered seeing the amount different so he hit the back arrow a few times to see what he originally saw, at which time it would have been too late to quote it the way it was hence the lack of quotation box in his second post. Your experiment proves nothing, but I honestly could care less what you bet. Its impossible to tell who is at fault without help from the moderating staff.

Well NES, all I can say is hundreds of people read the thread.

Can we just have 1 other person to say they saw $40.

Thats almost like someone being at a football game with 50,000 people and 1 guy saw a streaker run on the field, but nobody else saw it.

Ive said my piece.

Im done now.

Im perfectly content to let you guys think that I bet $40 on that game.

If this was a real case, it would not even get past the D.A.

If I was big on making people think I bet thousands of dollars on games I would have fudged my dollar amounts a long time ago like im sure other people do.

Heck, the biggest bet I have ever posted in over 10K plays at this forum is only $600.

So basically I dont care what you think I bet.

I respect the smart better who uses quality MM skills more anyway.

Its a marathon, not a sprint.

What do you make like 3 plays a day on average? At $300 a pop + juice roughly $1000 in bets a day? With these numbers you wager $7000 a week. I'll use $5000 a week in case you take a couple of days off. Over 20 weeks of baseball that's risking $100,000. And baseball's regular season is longer than that. But even at less than half a season that's $50,000. You must have one hell of a bankroll.

I made this bet right before gametime.

I know that Jennings was the listed pitcher.

Just a reminder - even with a ticket number TheRx mod team cannot dosclose a players wagering information in a situation like this without his permission. Even 5Dimes is under no obligation to give us any information without the players OK.

Now if Choptalk emails a mod or posts the ticket number and says "you have my permission to inquire as to the amount of the wager and disclose it on the Rx in a thread" then that is a different story.

Basically this matter can be easily settled by Chop Talk with a post or an email.

Personally I don't see what difference it makes how much a person bets. $40 or $200 - who really cares.

wil.

Why dont you just tell us all if I edited the post?
You have the power to tell if I edited it or not.

This is how you caught JMAN

I bet around the same money amounts you say you have been betting and I would gladly let a mod see my ticket for a free $700.

If the edit is made immediately it won't show up as an edit. There's a time period. I'm not positive on how it's done here, but that's my guess.

We cant see the edit as posters, but mods can.

thats how they caught JMAN.

They had a poster call out JMAN because he saw the first post before JMANS edit.

Then Wil came in and said yes I see where JMAN made the edit in my control panel.

Well TN, I have other interest at stake here besides myself.

I have been around a lot longer than just my time at therx.
There are people that I have been dealing with for years.

I would rather 5dimes not know who I am than be $700 richer.

Id rather people think I bet $40 than 5Dimes know who I am.

Especially with all the facts already on my side.

and realize you are now no better than Journeyman or Newleywed and your word is not worth very much.

But you still have a secret identity with 5 Dimes
