One of the issues is the numbers. I think people need to stop looking at the numbers like it’s a solid representation of what’s going on. We were late. And because we were late we are going to end up having numbers that are misrepresented right now.
The test acts as a prevention measure. Why? Because it can be used as a tracker to contain the virus. That is why testing is so important and everybody with common sense realizes we were behind the 8ball, so the numbers are going to be misrepresented UNTIL we see a major major spike. It will happen. Just a matter of time. That’s why all the idiots are dancing right now thinking this is nothing....because they are looking at the numbers in our country and think this isn’t a big deal.
The only reason our numbers aren’t higher right this second is because we have many people unaccounted for. And those unaccounted for people if they don’t take it seriously with quarantine, it’s only going to get way worse.

What numbers? Lmao I just said they mean nothing. Banning travel was expected to me. He should’ve been banning all European travel 3 weeks ago. When we were only screening people coming in from China because that’s where it “supposedly” was before we knew it it was somewhere else and those people were getting in and we weren’t testing because we were only worried about where it supposedly was coming from. Maybe we didn’t have enough kits. But we were in denial. “Everything is under control.”
Fact is there are way more infected sick people than reported. That’s fact. What also is fact is that it’s only going to get worse.
you're missing the point.. spell it out for you.. just for the sake of arguing , I will just agree that the flu season is shorter.. so what … what difference does it make which flu or virus lasts longer... most people won't get it . most people that do will recover from it.. unless we smash the usual flu season death total by leaps and bounds even over a longer period of time , we can't shut down the economy over it.. we will have more damage then with the actual deaths with this stupidity
