He prob is a jerk, so what? He's not your friend, he is a golfer. I'm sure some of the guys you think are "nice guys" or whatever, are prob jerks too when the camera is off......who cares what their personalities are? They are not our friends, they are really really really good golfers, and some are really really good golfers and even better entertainers
So what ? Well I guess then you don't care that OJ was a alleged murderer and Bonds, sosa, Mcquire, Clemens are Cheaters as they were all great athletes ! I care and I will not be pulling for him. My point was that VD keeps posting like everyone should be pulling for him and I'm not going to. Tiger is a jerk and even you admit that He probably is. If you want to root for a jerk... go for it but don't expect me to join in !
I agree with this. Its amazing how many call Tiger a jerk when in realiy they don't really know the guy at all. I remember years ago I was a huge fan of Carl Yazstremski of the Red Sox. What a great player and what a nice guy he seemed to be. But then I actually met the guy in person and found out he was a total JERK. In just 5 minutes I lost all respect for the guy because I actually found out what he really was. All of you that call Tiger a jerk might be surprised if you met him off the golf course when he isn't at "work". He might actually be a pretty nice guy... But the reality is, you really don't know because you really don't know the guy.
I don't like jerks ! Why do you like him ? Bonds, OJ, were pretty awesome also. do you like them ? Everyone has their favorite team and players and root against others. Where do you come up with this personal beef bit. I don't like any jerks and I can rattle off pages of them. I don't like Terrell Owens, Pacman Jones, Charlie Weis, etc etc.
well, pacman carrys a gun and he was terrible in dallas, so i dont like him.....being a (small) cowboy fan, i had no problems with Terrell owens in his stint here, he was pretty good on the field while he was here and one thing i've always respected about owens is he will block his ass off unlike most revievers.....but yea, i agree, i wouldnt be friends with either of those guys in "real life".
I have no problems with Weis at all. Actually I like the guy.
As far as the type of personalities of golfers I could be friends or relate to with in "real life"

JB Holmes, just to name a few. Are those guys dickheads, i dunno because i dont know any of them. I do have a friend that played the colonial pro-am in 2010 with JB Holmes and he said JB didnt say 5 words the whole round, and then they get on 18 fairway and then JB is high fiving them and telling them good shot. lol.

To clarify my position on Tiger, I also hope He returns soon in his quest to break Jack's Major record. Tiger has been great for golf and his presence on the Tour will be great for interest by golf fans. I am simply stating that I will not be rooting for him to break Jack's record. No personal beef and my life will be fine either way. We all have our favorites whether it's movies, sports teams, actors, actresses or politicians. I am certain I have never had the privilege of meeting as many celebrities as you have as I have spent many years of my life delivering the US mail and building homes and selling Real Estate. I did meet John Wooden once and that's my definition of a class act. I also had a very nice experience with Leann Womack, the country singer and She did a very special favor for a handicapped young lady that I delivered mail to. She's all class.
My list of direct contact with celebrities is quite small but I have eyes and ears and I have and will form my own opinions. I also can read and celebrities conduct in real life can influence me and everyone IMHO.
I look forward to Tiger's return and I hope the youngsters on the Tour meet the challenge and kick his A__ ! To each his own. If We all felt the same way about everything, We would all be fighting over the same woman and all be eating the same food etc etc. GL and I hope to see you at the next Bash but I very well will miss it because I will be moving to Oregon and have 3 homes to get sold.
