I believe if Rafael (Ted) Cruz and Carly Fiorina were the Republican Presidential candidates they can win big time caz

[h=1]Fox Host Debunks Indiana Gov. Mike Pence's Main Talking Point On Anti-LGBT Law[/h] Posted: 03/30/2015 4:33 pm EDT Updated: 03/30/2015 4:59 pm EDT

Even Fox News is backing away from Indiana’s anti-LGBT law. Fox anchor Bret Baier told “Happening Now” host Eric Shawn that the Indiana law is far broader than either the federal "Religious Freedom Restoration Act” signed in 1993 or RFRAs in 19 other states -- one of Indiana governor Mike Pence's talking points in defending the measure.
“Indiana's law deals with a person who can claim religious persecution but that includes corporations, for profit entities and it could also be used as a defense in a civil suit that does not involve the government,” Baier explained. “That is broader than the other laws.”
Indiana’s law “may embolden individuals and businesses who now feel that their religious liberty is 'burdened' by treating a member of the LGBT community equally and that their 'burden' trumps others' rights to be free from discrimination,” Baier added.

Indiana’s RFRA stands among a host of bills critics say invite discrimination against LGBT folk. While the federal RFRA prohibits government from placing a substantial burden on the free exercise of religion, Indiana’s law extends that rule to corporations and individuals as well.

My G-d. Emanuel did not pass a law that supported discrimination, he gave his opinion. Please show me the law Rahm Emanuel passed barring Chick Filet from opening in Chicago and I'll blast that also. Only problem is, he didn't.
Pence did. The law Pence passed legalizes discrimination. That's why he refused to answer Stephanopolis's question. "Pence did not answer directly when asked at least six times whether under the law it would be legal for a merchant to refuse to serve gay customers"
That's why there's an outcry against it from Businesses everywhere, in Indiana and out, as there should be.
Did I say Emanuel passed a law? I said Emanual did support the effort to of an alderman to, "block a second franchise to open in his ward". If a republican alderman tried to block a second gay friendly franchise from opening, the left would be rioting.

The problem is that the left is constantly trying to strip people they don't like of their rights and freedoms, while saying that theirs are untouchable. This is just another example.

If a Christian wanted to open a church in a strip mall, a church that would be railing against abortion and homosexuality, and the owner of that strip mall
refused, the left would have no problem. If it wasn't for double standards, liberals wouldn't have any standards.

This is a nice ploy on your part, a false equivalency. Pence never passed a law saying that gays couldn't open a business in Indiana. To my knowledge, no government officials in that state have tried to stop one from opening, like what was done in Chicago. If Emanuel passed a law saying that no one had to sell or lease land to Chick-Fil-A, I would support that law. But the liberal politicians took it a step farther, as they always do.

FYP. Figures Cruz, and the sick Casper, would be for Pence's disgusting law trying to legalize discrimination in Indiana. Just another example why Cruz(and Pence) are not fit to hold higher office in America. Cuba maybe for Cruz. He'd be comfortable in a totalitarian state.

Um, 31 states have RFRA laws and want to guess which President signed the Federal RFRA (which passed the Dem controlled house unanimously and the Senate 97-3)?

The 1993 federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act was signed by Clinton with overwhelming bipartisan support

You are so fucking dumb it is unbelievable.

Democrats have Nothing to do with this bill. What are you talking about? It's amusing that you are trying to paint this discrimination law on Democrats, when Pence is a Republican Conservative.
The Mayor of Chicago did not pass any law that forbids Chick Filet from entering Chicago. He just gave his view that what they do is wrong and he is entitled to that view.

You are nothing but a cartoonishly dumb liar.

The State of Connecticut has a RFRA bill that provides far greater religious liberty protections than Indiana’s or even the federal government’s

Democrats have everything to do with RFRA.

They should rail against homosexuality, and especially abortion. Of course, for Democrats, the more babies they can murder, the better - which is why I thank God for every church
that rails against that atrocity.

If enough people don't fight for the First Amendment, wedding photographers will be forced to charge the sodomites at least 10x their normal rate from their own projectile vomit that will damage their equipment.

Gay haters are a dying breed and in 20 years will be looked at the biggest idiots on the planet. In many places that's how they are viewed now. I love repubs against abortion who have zero care what these kids are born into and fight against healthcare for everyone. Care about them in the womb but let them suffer and die once they get out.

Funny how you have some sad little mantra narrative (false ones at that) for every single issue.

You're just not very bright, but keep hitting refresh and posting stupid quips on here all day long for the rest of your life.

Like the Second Amendment means muskets only and the First Amendment protects the sodomites but not religious liberties, you...you...you 'hater' you.

Poker Fraud Vtard's responds: There you go, Zit. Walter agrees with you, not a good sign. Another knockout for me! :pointer:

Of course you don't REALLY believe this nonsense, otherwise you'd be more than willing to take my bet heavily weighted in your favor. If the only thing separating Cruz from the Presidency was the R nomination, he'd simply run as an Independent, and get ready to be sworn in on Jan 21st 2017 for the landslide that awaits him. :ohno: You really are an idiot, as if we didn't know it already when you posted Humans have only been on earth for about 2000 years.

Yeah, because an independent party candidate will have no problem walking into the White House. Happens all the time.

Do you understand exactly what it takes to win a presidential election? It's more than just how popular a candidate is...it takes a great deal of effort on your party's behalf. Volunteers doing fund raising through phone calls, door-to-door stops, flyers, etc. Producing the right TV ads, web sites, mass mailers, and so on to get your message out. And the R's don't appear willing to offer that kind of help to Cruz, unless he somehow wins the nomination...giving them no choice. Independent candidates don't have that kind of support base, because they aren't connected to either of the big two parties. Maybe that's why we've never seen an independent candidate last long in presidential elections.

I don't know why this is such an impossible thought for you to grasp.
