These corporations know which way the wind is blowing and what virtue signaling needs to be done

Yep. Ironic how people think they are throwing these corporations a curve when in actuality they are behaving actually as they were planned too. Why anyone would stop doing things they enjoy is beyond me. Turn off the cable news. There is absolutely no need for 24/7 news. Just fires these people up. More screaming at the sky.

If you have a George Floyd poster in your window, or a BLM flyer or advertise BLM on your website you aren’t getting a penny from me.

All these businesses are adapting due to fear and it sickens me and I’m sick of seeing George Floyd’s picture all over Cincinnati.

But why is that? Because everyone thinks "their" news is real and "the other" one is fake. The news is also driven by ratings and if a station simply gave "news" it wouldn't draw an audience. So the public gets "fake news" because its what we desire. Which is a reflection of all of us as a society.

I think all of you missed the point, the uncomfortable truth is that this stuff is here to stay and not going anywhere. Well, why is that? And it isn't the media, academia or some other conservative inc. bogeyman.

It is a heterogeneous society that shows no signs of abating. Pretty funny neither side can mention that and thus it is almost lost on the people that feel they're fighting this culture war.

I'm not the least bit interested in making my life more difficult. I will continue to shop from any vendor that sells a product I'm interested in and leave the political stuff on the back step. I remember my sister-in-law saying she was going to boycott all products that come from China. I'm still laughing at that one. But good luck with your venture (especially Amazon).

Everyone that believes they are shocking the system are in fact doing exactly as they have been instructed to do. I always try to tell people, try turning off the news and social media for just a business week and see if you are still so fired up about this stuff.

Also don't get me wrong the news and journalist have done many extraordinarily great things for this country and we are no doubt better off having a free press.

The irony is...almost every poster here has said they don't want politics in their sports, restaurants, stores, ect. Yet do i need to point out the irony?

Is it that one doesn't want politics in every aspect of their life or they simply don't want to hear the opposing side of their politics?Because what should be a sports/gambling forum long ago turned into a political forum and the forum didn't change format but the posters who tell other aspects of life to get politics out bring their politics into a gambling forum daily.

Little more explanation please. It’s those that want to play victim. It can be any color. We live in a victim world. No one will take blame for their short comings. And the minute they can latch on to a “reason,” they run with it!

Not my fault, it’s my parents, it’s my skin color, it’s how I was raised, it’s what I know. It’s stupidity is what it is, and lack of awareness.

Agreed. My wife said the same shit about boycotting China and I laughed. That lasted about 13 seconds.
